  1. Get the parts from Alex or another trader and drive to one of the garages that are on here, isnt RS Tuning based in Leeds? It will save you money and the job will be done a whole lot better with a garage that deals with Zeds frequently. Just because its Nissan doesnt mean they know about the Zed
  2. Thanks for the responses guys, i know its cheap especially seeing as most of the parts are under 6 months old, dont really fancy breaking it as the work taken to get it to this level would make it demoralising The price is for forum members only as that way i know its going to get looked after, if it goes on autotrader its going to be more money. I know what your saying Tarmac, its not like i want to sell the car as its perfect but with the house market as it was a couple of months ago i couldnt say no to the property that came up and i have a feeling the bills may be too much with the car. Fingers crossed i can keep hold of it, but i just wanted some feedback as to if anyone would consider buying it or at least if the price was in the right area it would go pretty quick. Rich there is no way i could picture myself in an s2000, its just way to pretty Plus i cant stop thinking about that guy in fast and furious driving one Im suprised you swopped the Zed for one, you seemed pretty happy with it.
  3. The car is up for sale! Ive had an awesome time with it and its truly an epic ride but the time has come to be sensible as we have just got our second husky from a rescue centre and obviously mine isnt practical and my partners is far to small for two dogs so we need something bigger! The car has got 6 months tax, it has 8 months MOT and FSH with its last one being by Abbey Motorsport. Heres the spec: 350z GT 2004 (53 reg) Black but vinyl covered white 59,000 Miles 2 previous owners, 1 of which was on here previously Genuine Veilside front lip Genuine Nismo side skirts D1 Spec Throttle controller Nismo Exhaust Injen CAI Japspeed Decats 19" Gunmetal Rota GTR's with vredestein front tyres(7mm) and new Falken 452 on the rear. Tein Superstreet Coilovers with Tein EDFC (Fitted by Abbey) Rear L.E.D Lights I also have some Ichiba rear camber arms that were never fitted and i can throw these in also And the bad points: Driver seat leather is cracked on the side you get in and out of, im pretty sure it can be treated as i leather clean it every couple of months and it comes out well after its been done. The bose has been skipping when cold but fine after 5/10 mins The vinyl on the front bumper has the odd stone chip but nothing on the paint. The driver side window needs to be regreased as its sticking. There is a small mark on the drivers side door where the vinyl has been caught, probably the size of a 5p There is a small mark on the drivers side door edge where it has caught a wall, not noticable when closed. Mechanically it is perfect and i havent had any problems since owning it, it pulls strongly and smoothly throughout the gears and is genuinely eye catching in white. Im looking for £9495 with 6 months tax Heres a couple of pics but i will put some more up of the points ive outlined
  4. Welcome to the forum You have summed it up pretty well to be honest the 330 to me seems very subdued comparedf to a zed, when you get the car you will see what i mean. The zed is a very raw car, lots of torque, sounds good and a fun car to drive in regards to the handling. The 330 is designed to please everyone, hence why it doesnt really excel anywere. Just what i found after driving both for a while. In terms of costs, servicing is definately cheaper with the zed and for fuel consumption you can happily get 30mpg if you drive conservatively (very difficult) Hope that helps
  5. Gerrard is Captain and apparently Lampard Vice, should be funny
  6. You do realise that Ledley King cant train properly, if at all, inbetween games because of his dodgy knees? He may of had a good season at Spurs but has he really been tested against the top stikers in the world? Not saying Rio would have been fit for the job either after a shambles of a season at Old Trafford but he has the experience of previous seasons to go on which in world tournaments you really need.
  7. Are you the same guy that had it for sale on pistonheads afew months back? Did you repair the damage to the wheels, arches etc? Is it now Cat C/D? Some pics would really help.
  8. Take care mate, The VXR is Would certainly be my choice if i could afford the insurance!
  9. how deep is it into the tyre?
  10. Going to be doing something similar and they look You have any tips Shaun?
  11. Was the suspension bushes when i had the same thing in my BMW, might not be the same thing as the Zed though.
  12. The Zed doesnt like to have the gears changed to quickly, mine does it ever so slightly in 5th but its only when im changing too quickly. Shouldnt worry too much about it.
  13. Im sure you will find an excuse to buy another soon!
  14. BMW = bulletproof and will last forever but boring VW Gold = Bland and common, not exciting VXR = Fun car but not enough power Thats just my opinion though. I do the same mileage as you and have to pay £45 pw for getting to and from work and some fun driving at the weekend, always V Power aswell.
  15. Great looking wheels! Looks like we are no longer half brothers I can also verify their authenticity if anyone wants a second opinion
  16. No problems thanks for trying!
  17. absolutely sarah i understand that the price reflects the quality, have no arguements there. Just trying to save cash were possible as my first house purchase is almost complete and most funds are heading in that direction. I never got that email by the way.
  18. yea i saw the group buy but even at £180 i dont think i can creep that high. Motordyne would be my choice but beggers cant be choosers and all that Thanks though Rich.
  19. 5am meet sounds good im free all week! In all seriousness though this same scenario happened to my girlfriend over xmas, other car came to fast around a corner and hit her whilst she was at a stand still. The other car admitted fault at the time but when the paperwork came through they hadnt! Luckily i had photos of the scene and the numberplate.. which had this girls initials.. but the insurance forms came through in her parents name... one phone call explaining that insuring a car for someone else to drive the majority of the time is illegal and they changed there mind! I think you will have a pretty good case Jay, provide the photos of the street and where the cars ended up and its very hard for the other party to prove they werent in the wrong.
