When i worked in insurance the car is covered like for like, therefore if your insuring a GT spec 350z, all the factory fitted options are covered too. in the same way that your insurance is invalid if you put the wrong car in the paperwork, an insurance company cant provide compensation for an alternative car. If the small print states otherwise, and they confirm this on the phone, im sure trading standards would have a field day.

Just looking to see how much somebody could fit the central 20 3.9 central drive part and the other OEM parts i would need? Also if possible to do an uprev tune to increase the rpm limit safely? Have got a nice pay pack coming through in October and looking at the options of what to spend it on! I have a 04 GT spec 350z which is standard currently but will have a jwt popcharger, plenum spacer and exhaust by the time i get this fitted as well. I have seen the Envy website and didnt know if they could do the installation of the parts and maybe the uprev as well? Or if that would be through Abbey? I also saw the same parts on the Z1 website so didnt know if it was a better option to get it this way and get a garage to fit it? Didnt know if people have the same mod and which way they did it? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hey mate, it's through admiral, get a quote online with no reg number but the correct car. Then ring up with the quote number and add the reg. Found they were charging another £150 for no reason! Not sure why as my car came up on the screen when I gave the reg. Only downside is you have to pay upfront, monthly would be 1300! Only found that out when I went to pick the car up

Just from what people have told me, the change of intake wont make any difference unless you plan on having your ECU remapped (Uprev i believe) as the ECU is adaptive it will simply alter the air intake to bring your bhp to its original setting. The only thing you will achieve, especially with a pop charger, is some increase in noise. If you want the added bhp, best to do the other mods aswell like plenum spacer, exhaust, and pop charger then get the ECU remapped.

Definately Gun metal, they looked awesome on Si's old car probably even better on silver.

600bhp? guess that could contribute How much money are we talking about to get the essential mods to get to 8000rpm safely? im guessing a little more than a cosworth intake

thanks for the advice, you have managed to sway me onto the carbon plenum your doing, i can imagine its going to look awesome and im not planning any FI tuning on this one. Cant afford it for another month, are you doing another batch then if you get the numbers? Thanks again!

Awesome thanks for the quick response! Im not planning on too much mods for the time being, prob just a typhoon filter and new exhaust then a ECU remap. Was thinking about a nitrous kit but think i would be too worried about something going wrong to do it. The only thing troubling me is that on the website the kinetix says its great for NA cars aswell? it looks but then again so does the carbon fibre plenum. I suppose both are going to give a performance increase once the remap was done. hmmm guess its going to come down to personal taste?

O.k so ive been reading through different parts of the forum and so far only found info on the plastic plenum that Kinetix do. Am i right in thinking this the Kinetix SSV Extreme flow intake is just a better option or is it not the same modification? I was intending to get a plenum spacer, maybe even the carbon fibre plenum that a forum user is advertising as i imagine that will look very There is also the Cosworth intake manifold that i have seen and that also appeals. Both of these are on the Z Store. I guess my main question is do these mods give much of a performance improvment and are they the same mod? Prob sound a stupid question but new to all of this If any members have them would be great to hear some feedback! Thanks Guys!

So after looking at the Envy website i saw this http://www.z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuse ... rentCat=17 Is that really going to improve performance if the standard box provides more air flow than needed? Im really looking to either maintain or enhance performance but just add a little sound as well. This one seemed like a good compromise as orignially i was after the AEM V2 but if the added length means less air flow im not so keen. Sorry if this has been covered but new to this forum stuff! Did try searching but im useless

Thanks for the info! the chilli had caught my eye but its missing the GT options which would have been beneficial for the price thats being asked. Found a couple of 04 reg GT spec in both black and sunset for the same price with only 30k mileage. Hopefully they are still available!

thats the same button my BMW has to heat the front windscreen. you can tell because its a picture of a curved screen. The rear is a rectangle screen with the same wiggley line.

Hey Im looking at purchasing my first 350z! im looking for preferably a 04+ reg with no more than 40k milage. ive currently got around 11k to spend but that could be increased if the right car came along! would love the azure blue or black but i know they are few and far between.
