  1. being very honest to his credit. I'm happy with what you have told me though mate.
  2. Hey mate, the pop chargers will suffer from some heat soak when stationary but when your driving the air flow increases so its not much of a problem. The JWT does have a heat shield as does the HKS so that will help. At the end of the day most peiople have them on for the noise and not so much about the performance as the OEM box is already awesome. The air travels through a gap in the front of the bumper directly infront of the pop charger, well it does on mine anyhow not sure if there are differences between what year your car is and if its an import. Sure someone more knowledgable than me could tell you.
  3. Well drove to work this morning and there still seems to be alittle oil burning off, not sure if any extra has come out as the dipstick is properly in now. Just hoping its just the left overs as couldnt clean it all off. Might have to see if the seal has been damaged if its happened before. Hoping its that and nothing more serious
  4. Thanks for the quick reply mate Just a bit worried with a new car
  5. Not sure how it's happened but I think the dipstick not being pushed in properly has caused oil to spray out. Is this possible? Or maybe something more serious? If so do people think it's worth getting the engine cleaned properly? Got oil around the stick and it's dripping through the engine and onto the floor. Any help would be appreciated!
  6. Link didnt work for me mate. might be why.
  7. Just joking around, reminded me of something a friend did because it sounded good and then failed the MOT. classic
  8. Kinda the same as drilling holes in the back box Not sure if its possible so cant really help you with that. How come you dont want to buy a performance exhaust instead?
  9. Just a quick question whilst on the topic. My cars black but wrapped in white vinyl and although i havent seen the car properly without it on i know the previous owner said there was some swirls. Do you think these will get any worse with the vinyl on? Is it easily correctable? Dont mind paying the cash if its worth it
  10. Not sure about the multi spoke, like i said after seeing the GT4s they made me think that look stands out far more. Seen the Finichi Rimini and the Ultralite GTII would be good, my favourite would be the Volk GT-S but dont have that kind of money at the moment. Saying that though if i saw them on the car i would prob change my mind. Definately an impulse buyer
  11. Thanks guys, so im guessing the rims should be the first mod?? ill take the hint. Well Geraghtyr got to say im a little jealous they looked was gutted i couldnt afford them with the car. Not sure about related after seeing your avatar pic Thanks for the feedback!
  12. Is there much sound difference from standard box?
  13. The rims are a must i know would have had the ones that were on there already but my budget was already stretched at the time. Might just wait until after the winter before fitting though as the standard ones arent in bad shape. Might come to the meet at the end of October if your there Mark. Also tempted by those wheels your offering so could be sooner
  14. Its suprising how good it looks, was expecting it to look fairly cheap until i saw it for real. Even got some polish on it and thats brought it up to an almost paint with the added ease of cleaning. Cant recommend it enough.
  15. Insurance for myself was through admiral for £908 thats fully comp with no NCD and im 23. You do have to pay upfront though otherwise it goes up to £1300 But i think thats the ball park figure a lot of people are paying without any claims.
  16. Know ive been on the forum a month now but never introduced myself properly and finally got the car sorted and cleaned! It was a forum members car and has been well looked after! Its a 2004 GT model in Black and vinyl wrapped white! This is my first "proper" car as cant really call the old ones cars after driving this for ther last few weeks Going to be making a few mods v soon, nothing extreme but with some extra money in the bank over the next 2 months will be looking to finally get the carbon plenum and engine cover i know is being sold on here, exhaust, JWT pop charger, new wheels and the chargespeed bumper and diffuser looks Then get to some meets very soon!
  17. sounds good mate. How come your changing it?
  18. Same thing happened to my bmw with M3 wheels, locking nuts wont do a thing if people want them bad enough. Simple to drill them out, the guys in Sheffield were ridiculous, a gang of them took off the wheels from 7 cars on differant streets and stole the stereo systems without setting off alarms. Now thats professional
  19. Well Nismo have a lot of followers on here and they do sound great, finally got to hear a mates the other week. Lots of traders on here who should be able to help source you one.
