  1. Finally got some pictures for this thread! Here are the 13 animals in the house... Poppy the Staffie Fred the bearded dragon The poor locust hadn't a clue what was about to hit it... Fish & Chips the gerbils Two miror carp, two goldfish, two oranda and some tiddlers
  2. I prefer the GTi (esp the Edition30)- depends what you're after What size car are you looking for? Mini to M3 to Monaro is a big range! Would you diesel? Is that swearing on this forum? Imagine a Zed TDi - it will happen people!
  3. What about a new Clio 200 (standard or cup spec) I was at a Renault dealer over the weekend with my mate who's looking for one - they're willing to negotiate pretty heavily. We beat the guy down from over £300 a month to £260 a month with a free set of mats and a TomTom integrated satnav. We started looking at used models but they're offering 0% finance on new models. You won't find a better b-road basher!
  4. That looks great - might have to get the tin opener on mine! Nice colour too....
  5. What better car to replace a Zed than another Zed! Are you going for another 350 or a 70?
  6. Cracking pictures - changed your mind about selling it?
  7. I'm aiming to make it to Japfest and JAE this year. May have to pop along to some meets as I haven't done so yet. How about the trip north to the Wales meet?
  8. I had a Mk5 Golf GT TDI170 that I'd remapped to 200bhp and 300 ft lbs torque - caught a fair few by surprise! Shame the thing was so damn unreliable! Back to VW 9 times in 6 months!
  9. Guys, No - I'm not looking for a bull bar for the Zed, although I'm sure someone has already fitted one. I've got a Suzuki Grand Vitara and I'm after a nudge bar for the front - I've tried breakeryard websites etc and I'm really struggling to find one like the example pictured. Can anyone help? Thanks
  10. They look great! What tyre sizes are they front & rear? Did they fit straight on?
  11. Apples & pears My mates was fun to drive but had; air con sat nav heated leather seats cruise control ABS traction control etc etc etc All missing. I've made my bed and I'm happy to lie in it!
  12. My winky doesn't work either - it looks a bit 'special'. I've tried controlling ef five but it doesnt change anything
  13. My mate had a Clio 172 cup, nigh on identical power to weight, skinned me in the twisties but I got revenge on the open bits. Still know which car I'd rather get into!
  14. The spacers are the best/easiest mod - wonder how many Mitz has done. Had my tyres changed over the weekend, no sign on the rears of fouling. Mines an 06.
  15. Mitz for Prime Minister? The clutch still feels great. I still love the flywheel too!! I can understand why some people wouldn't want the lightened fly but im very happy with my choice!! The bite just takes a little getting used to. after that it's all good What have you noticed performance wise with the new clutch / flywheel? I've been thinking about the same mod.
  16. Have you tried PistonHeads? There's a massive range of cars for sale on there. As for the fuel economy - will some spirited driving (aka on track) you'll hit single figures... You'll be on first name terms with your local Shell... but it's worth every penny, the feeling you get driving one is fantastic - a full on love affair.
  17. I would love to be at that standard of driving, theres a guy at my work who's an ex-race driver and his car control is amazing. His Lotus was beating much more powerful / faster cars at Bedford - I managed a 1/4 lap then let him past me!
  18. I noticed no difference at all when I fitted my popcharger and it transformed the noise from the car - a lovely whooosh, especially with cold air when you first touch the pedal and a fantastic noise at high revs. Give Mitz a call at CS - he's sorted out bits and bobs for loads of people on here.
  19. Loving the Supra - theres a standard one rotting on my neaighbours drive, in desperate need of some TLC and turning into something like yours.
  20. I know it well - lovely dual carriageway from hams hall to the M6 - bet its a lot quieter in the evenings now the police have stopped the boy racers.
  21. Me likie - slightly different shades depending on angle.
  22. Have you checked your brakes? Could possibly have a sticky caliper, or some pads on their way out.
  23. 8.26? P'ah! I could do that with my eyes closed - no - wait, I was dreaming, that's why my eyes were closed... I remember the Sabine Schmitt Top Gear clip - trying a sub ten minute lap in a Transit!
  24. Nice lid - I need something as thin as poss as I'm catching my head on the roof.
