Often have that thought when mine's on track. Tempted to buy and old £1k Scoob to thrash aound the track. Have you put the Zed on PistonHeads? They seem to fly off that website, plus the ads are free (I think)

What spec / age / colour?

I know there are some purists on here that will have the TC off all the time, but I nearly always have it on, it's a reassuring safety net. I came from a Golf GT into the Zed so RWD was all new and the TC saved me a couple of times. It's not a bad system, never found it too intrusive. Best to leave it on for day to day driving.

Having only done Bedford, I consider myself an expert, possibly even a world leader when it comes to the 'Ring... Definately a familiarisation trip - will be paying a lot of attention to the mirrors and I don't mean vanity!

The Clio 172 Cups are great to throw about - worlds away from a Zed, you have to keep them bouncing off the redline and drive them like you stole them!
