  1. How do you wire them in? Separate switch or into the lights?
  2. agreed a good choice pad, but might be out of the budget margin. but mitz at CS is the man to speak to as he also does the red and yellow stuff as well. Good point, Mitz did me pads, lines, fluid & a popcharger as a package so I couldn't say the specific price for the pads. Sparky - would you fit them yourself?
  3. Try Mitz at CS for some Ferodo DS2500 pads - work a treat with my Brembos
  4. On an unrelated matter - my Zed's being resprayed soon....
  5. My scariest moments included a non-intention roundabout drift racing an XR3i (punching above my weight). My mate's face was a picture - we were seeing where we going out of his side window. The other moment was practising J turns in Tesco car park and somehow managing to get it backward into a trolley park without causing any damage, that was one of life's mysteries. Like crop circles.
  6. You've got a one track mind tonight! I've never sold on here before, and noticed the rule about the phot of user name, and grabbed what was to hand..
  7. How about a GM Zed meet? We could do manly man things to prove we're not Gay Men
  8. Always has been - no matter who it's insured with, it's a 2 litre 4 pot, bullet proof but not fast or nickable
  9. I'll give them a try - I'm 26 so officially old. (according to the Mrs' brothers)
  10. Just had my renewal through from Direct Line - £1041.60 Tried Admiral's MultiCar with the Zed and my Vitara. How can Direct Line try and charge that much when Admiral charge less for TWO cars?
  11. I keep trying to tell myself that! Hearing the kids speak nowadays - like another language. Alway's thought I'd be 'down with them' but I'm accepting defeat!
  12. It's funny with the Mrs' little brother trying to wheel out all the excuses when he screws up. "There was oil on the road..." "That speed camera's not calibrated properly" etc etc etc
  13. Hi all, I purchased these from this forum recently with the view to fitting tackday tyres to them - after finding the cost of trackday rubber I've decided against it! Plus taking up too much space in my small garage! Slight kerb damage to one of the fronts. Michelin PSs all around, rears are decent, fronts are low - all legal though. Collection from Tamworth (can help with local delivery if need be) £120 ono
  14. haha! Before my first car, I used my mum's Nissan Micra 1.0 (the bubble shape one), the poor thing was ragged all day long, fantastic handbrake turns....
  15. Might have a problem with the date! We're doing the three peaks challenge for charity at work and the June date might be brought forward.... More details as I have them.
  16. I couldn't even move mine off my drive in the snow! Thank God for the Vitara. Pulled the bosses Merc out of a drift so earned some brownie points
  17. Genius! Hopefully it won't get in the way of the car BBQ I've got planned!
  18. Loving your work! What game's that? Forza Motorsport 3 on a 50" Panny......... Gutted! Got a PS3, not Xbox. Nice set up, is there a steering wheel & pedals too?
  19. The bow wave I made was probably the only thing that stopped the car being completely flooded! Snorkel Sump guard Winch etc etc Now on the shopping list!
  20. Decided on a friends recommendation to take my Vitara through Packington Ford at dusk - I was assured that it wasn't deep... drove the car into it and realised that it wasn't a ford, more of a river. I made it to the other side to find the brakes were like damp sponges and the footwells were flooded. To make matters worse we'd ended up in a private estate full of deer (venison anyone?). We drove around to find every exit blocked with security gates we couldn't open so the only way out was to drive back through the ford! One week on, the interiors still damp, fog lamps still full of water, at least the brakes work again. Needless to say I wont be attempting it again. Anyone else been anywhere as stupid? Not my vid, but the closest I could find!
  21. Was a bugger to fit, hopefully won't have to do it again!
  22. Loving your work! What game's that?
