  1. haha, trust me, with 9 years expeience with jaguar and owning a ford, i would 100% say that the mondeo is a better car, the rear suspension on the xtype is useless, the mondeo is simple and ive had no faults with mine. the 2.0 diesel jag is a 5 speed gearbox, the mondeo is a 6 speed box, so better economy. Depends how you define better... A Mondeo is a better car than a Zed in many many ways, but none of the most important ones... Yes but the 350 isnt based on the mondeo while the jag is. Wasn't comparing them just saying the use of the word 'better' is very loose... Fair enought but the jag was built worse, had worse spec, drove worse but you was charged more for the pleasure of owning it. Just the badge that sold it .

  3. An x type is a Mondeo just more expensive and more shoddily built.
  4. I take that bet. Thanks for the sponsoring of my radiator cap... Guess you're one of the lads that won't pay up when it comes to the crunch though. Only messing with you buddy just a bit if banter, no harm ment. I don't want a fi 350 though, IMO I agree that no one will stump up the cash for it as it's alot of money. Are you still going mid mount? Why not try running it about 400bhp then go forged when you want more power? I may be wrong but running a 600bhp car may spoil you car as a daily if you use it as one. Also I doubt you can use more than 400bhp on the road. All IMO of course. Also if you want it done cheap I would get a container and ship them to USA and get it done there. You could also ship back other stuff on the way back.
  5. £10 says anlid never goes fi
  6. I saw a blue roadster outside your house just off Arbroath road a mate of mine lives there. Another silver import on b ferry road with n1 spoiler and nice alloys. Give me a shout if your on here or i'l leave a flyer under your window wiper
  7. I take it you dont have bose? If not forget the rear speakers and just amp your front ones.
  8. Thats rt's isnt it?
  9. I average 40 to 50 miles a day and it costs me about a full tank every 6-7 or 8 days.
  10. 5 gears mate. Generally pretty robust only heard of a few failures. Take 11litres of oil though but thats one every 60k. I wouldnt imagine its much different. Pics of skyline
  11. I have one. Is great doesnt feel like a cheap auto, no jerky changes. Im sure some people are running 400bhp in the us on auto's. The changes are pretty fast and on trip tronic mode they are quite snappy.
  12. Love it , just seems an odd use for the car but it looks like it works so why not.

  20. Snow foam, then rinse with no attachment or watering can hose. Each to their own.
  21. I dunno Paul, they seem to be quite good at cleaning the patio and washing out the wheelie bin now and again Yes JIm your quite correct, and thats their limitation IMO. Why would you wanna blast particles of grit into your paint work? Beats me.... Snow foam
  22. man i would swear it wasnt that expensive...then again i dont remember where i got it from but it was when the pond was about 2 dollars. go on the gt-spec web site. the middle section and the fender bracings made most of the difference. then the front and rear bracings. but honest they are all a must have for the roadster anyway Il have a look thats how much I could find it for
  23. wow, thats quite impressive. its just £450 plus getting it from the us is quite expensive.
  24. Could someone like a metal worker not just knock up the design like the summit brace set, if they where supplied one?
