  1. Im not sure im old enough to go volvo said my wife, lol In a way i agree. That time will come im sure, decent car for sure! And im lovin the juke, but im not sure id like to own one if you know what i mean? the t5 is wild man and it has a nice big turbo so when you remap it becomes even faster... same engine as the focus st but alot better the v50 t5 is stunning also. The s40 and v50 are my favourites http://www.swedespeed.com/old_site/resources/downloads/wallpaper/s40/wp1/800x600.jpg

    Fitting an exhaust

alot of the original bolts will snap aswell, especially the ones which are welded to the silencer flange,
  4. most new systems will be piped in plastic pipe with pushfit connections. This cuts the cost and labour times massively
  5. i always thought they were crap, my missus dad's tyre fitting business is a major stockist, i may try them out and do a little review of them on track and on road.
  6. That is a top class price depending on the size of boiler the guy never made that much. Must have been doing you a very very good deal
  7. We use valiant in our commercial sites and I must agree they are really good. I get a good deal on the Worcester boilers from a supplier so I make a little more most from them. Vokera are also pretty good. With regards to servicing all these boiler run very efficiently and are all similar priced
  8. I recommend using Worcester Bosch usually. There are so many different makes, models and variations. It's all down to the design budget. As for gas pressure, due to the new boiler being more efficient you may be able to keep the original gas line as the gas rate and pressure drop from the meter should be adequate.
  9. The condense is actually formed in the secondary heat exchanger. You will have minimal in the flue. The warm combustion products which would normally go up the "chimney" pass through a secondary heat exchanger which then remove latent heat from the combustion gases when then reduces it's ability to hold moisture(causing condense to form) The flue temperature in a condensing boiler is a lot cooler than that of a conventional boiler, this is why condensing boiler are much more efficient(as the don't allow most of the heat energy to escape up the chimney) The problem with a cooler flue is that you lose the "flue pull" as when the combustion gas cools more it loses velocity due to the difference in external temperature to combustion gas temp being smaller than that of a conventional boiler. This is overcome by introducing a fan flued appliance. With every boiler there is a recommended flue height. The most popular boilers are that of the type with flues going out the side wall but by the sounds of what your saying you won't need a new boiler, just a thermostat.
  10. I'm a gas engineer, but commercial. What did your boiler fail on? Do you have a service report sheet. I'm guessing your last boiler wasn't a combi? You'll get a top spec condensing boiler for 1200 quid. A bit of pipework alteration needed and fitting of new boiler. A local company will charge around 500-1000 to fit and steal your old copper calorifier. You may be able to negotiate with smaller companies. My boiler in my house is around 20 years old and still going strong
  11. i drive around 50-60k miles a year and in 6 years ive never had a speeding fine. simple, dont speed. There is times and places where we all like to push on a little and no-one can say they dont but if you get caught then its your own fault
  12. The best v6 noise ive heard so far is either buddy club or k1. Both very different prices. I love the sound of my scorpion aswell, theres no drone on the motorway but sings when you give it some, im running nismo y-pipe and unresonated decat pipes.

    CEL's

I'm sure low battery throws all these up. As forth clutch, mines has a click too and I'm pretty sure the clutch is hydraulic so there will be no cable. Get your battery on a charger and if it's a wet cell battery check the water level is above the plates. If it's low fill with de-ionised water(melted icecubes according to my old man)
  14. http://www.lamebook.com ftw
  15. none as i dont have facebook
  16. yup beemer over alfa anyday.. the 530 shifts aswell
  17. Thanks Neil I really like Sabine and now everytime I think of her I may start my own facebook site dedicated to Sabine's Ring His tits aren't as nice as Sabine's though! haha nice one vik! once alex loves us and abandons us you'll take title as the queen of knockers
  18. Thanks Neil I really like Sabine and now everytime I think of her I may start my own facebook site dedicated to Sabine's Ring hahah i was gonna say he's missing a few vital assets to fully replicate her.... unfortunately im not on facebook as i really hate how it has taken over, its like the iphone(although i did eventually crack and got one)
  19. As Alex said you could get it done cheaper no doubt but then you may end up having to get it done again at a later date or have to look at it and not be happy. At least if you pay for a decent repair you can insist it is absolutely perfect pay the VAT and get yourself a warranty with the repair also.
  20. any faster and your hair will get blown out! time to get a solid roof i think
  21. Actually I was being quite serious Neil but there appears to be difference in opinion to what is top and what is bottom, however your last post clears up that issue. My KW Clubsport still has around 12 threads left on the rear for me to highten the suspension if I so desired and the V3, adjustment wise is no different in set up. Sorry for the hijack Chris but Neil can be a bit slow at times. it just take me time to translate to non-technical minded words. Hmm i will have a look at it alex once the snow has cleared and get some photos and measurements.
  22. i know your trying to rip the p1ss here but..... remember im talking about the rears on the top of the spring you have the purple adjuster and the little black metal piece which its screwed onto... To adjust the suspension higher you screw the adjuster away from the top of the black section??
