640 mate bought it off Jason for 150.
I think i see where I went wrong. I left the stereo screwed to the dash so had to put it all in together. Buster left his unscrewed and mounted it in then put the dash in.
I also have Afr gauges in there so had to disconnect all of that and then the top clip broke so had to have about 4 attempts at gluing it lol.
All done now though
I've just done my jvc one and it was a nightmare.....
Put it all back in to remember I left the antenna cable out. Put it back in to find steering wheel controls not working due to a dodgy connection.
I swear I had the dash in and out about 5 times to get everything perfect
Working now and very happy with it though.
The guides helped alot. Once you do it once its a piece of cake
just be careful as the obd2 is right next to your right leg and is easily knocked. Somebody on here already had an HUD and ended up getting rid. Can't remember why.
Some stuff from the obd2 cannot be picked up though.
it doesnt come with the y-pipe by the looks of it from the pics. I'd be enquiring if it didnt. The nismo ypipe as a 3" outlet on it, the standard y-pipe is smaller.
Is it a dry or wet system ? That will make the biggest difference as to what is controlling it.
The direct port systems are a nightmare to install and really arent needed on our engines as we will only be able to go upto about 400 before the bottom end decides to self destruct.
What price have you been offered the kit for?
Is it a dry or wet system?
I have standard cats that I may be willing to sell. They have only done around 20k miles before I removed them and fitted with decats. Theyre from a 2006 revup car with de engine
meh... might be a classic but looks very dated. The shapes...meehh, the interior has 4 seats, just doesnt push my buttons. I'd rather drive a decent new car then empty my pockets into an old motor like that
Direct port is far too much hassle. If you want to run high power nos you need the likes of a haltech ecu to control it all.
You're looking at big money to install and get up and running
If buying spacers the you should have 20mm on front and 25mm on rear.
It should be fine as long as your are running the 18" standard rays or oem style wheels
Interesting I've found 37 front and 38 rear as ideal for me.
I think we know from these psi's who is, er, getting more heat in their rear tyres
lol I think we knew that before he even posted lol
sounds like you bought a bucket mate... you should have asked on here before buying and somebody would help you look at it. The airbag light is an easy fix. The eml may be decats or something causing it.....
I drive mine hard always. Never had an issue.
