  7. As far as I have been told aluminium "race" nuts have a limited use. I was told they "should" be changed every time you undo them but I have never looked into it myself so that could be a load of cack.

    Re-post...

yeah it has been posted before, but i don't think there is ever a limit on how many times this car can be slogged off.

  11. male comedian jokes range over any subject, female comedian jokes range over three things; periods, the male organ and men in general. yawn 95% of the time.

  15. i meant alton, there is a nemesis at alton towers.
  16. If i wanted to spin my wheels i would have to do damage to the car, at 295mm they have too much grip for the power available, although it is possible I don't like to do it in any kind of regular way. IF you can drive it and understand what is involved with taking the TC off then great, enjoy the car more. But (no offence to the OP) if you don't even realise that it's the TC that is interfering and don't even notice the flashy light on your dash then it's best you leave it on. To me I simply don't see the need to take it off on the public road. On the track though, yes I completely understand. I just don't want a whole bunch of people who read the forum to think, "I know what i'll do tomorrow, i'll turn it off like the other cool kids do BANG!!!

  19. i was just saying to zugara, next time you change form 1st to 2nd make an effort to add in a little half second pause to let the engine slow down a bit from 6000, see if it makes a difference.
