I hate clearing cache etc as its the usual pain of re-entering everything. last night i was sorting my parents website and couldnt figure out why the page wouldnt update with the changes i had made, i completely gutted my browser until finally realising i had put it in the wrong folder on the web host every autofill and username auto fill now gone... i even went as far as booting up IE for the first time in forever... wow! it's rubbish.

tarmac cant get on, i asked if he was using IE but he doesnt know. he can see the forum but not log on.

Try PM'ing tarmac and see if he can get hold of only one part of it for you

Ok here's how I see it. Take money + Provide service = Company I and many others pay this company a fee per year to host business on here. The company is failing to provide the service that has been paid for. The company responds that they will fix it when they get round to it, the reason for the delay is that they haven't correctly assigned thier resources to provide the service promised. No, apologies but will have to decline, I personally will not pay you to fix this issue as the net benefits to me alone would not cover this cost. The forum currently uses money from traders and other sources to pay for web hosting, domain names, bbq's, cups of tea, flyers, name badges + all sorts of other things. If the forum decides to utilise its funds to pay you then that is a possible course of action to remedy the problem. On the note of a thread detailing down time. -thread starts -people agree -problem is being fixed -people wait -people get frustrated -thread is continued You asked us to wait while it was sorted, that seems a fairly obvious reason for the thread to stay quiet. If you think the downtime doesnt exist then run a poll and find out.

GOTTA drive better than the Charger.... it was like driving a bowl of soup! And the TCS was crazy didn't seem to kick in at all...and when it "did" I swear it just flashed a light on the dash and did nothing else! Sitting at lights on an up-slope, in the pouring rain.... took me 10 seconds to pull off! Can always be upgraded.

Afraid its not that easy. The server has plenty of resources left. A lot of the issues stem from the fact that the database is not set up for our level of usage and needs tuning which we are working on. We could always set up a proper IRC channel if people want to use chat on an more than leisurely scale how does that work?
