not that im planning on installing open headers, im just curious? Does anyone know what would happen if you were running a 350z on open headers? Will it run? How will performance be affected? will it damage the engine? I have heard things about back pressure not being present and not being able to completely remove the exaust gasses from the cylinders or something of that nature but thats all im aware of. like i say just curious

Thanks Its not a car in my league, i thought there might be someone who it applies to on here. its not a saxo forum after all. didnt get it on the road unfortunately, i was quite dissapointed to realise it was parked on the test track and i had with me a guy with test track passes, if only i had booked in to drive it around this one was a hybrid so i dont know how noisy it would be. i cant think which merc it is im in on wednesday if its the S then im in luck and can compare. but for tomorrow the maserati is beckoning I knew there was a reason i am suffering the midlands

I had this car for some static testing today so me and another 2 guys had a good rumage round. TBH you would never have enough time to make it round all the features of the car its absolutley ram packed!! the back is the place to be, from a a shiatzu massage to ottoman style electric recline, built in tv/dvd with a huge screen, your own aircon and heated/cooled seats, a table the raises up from the middle and swivels, your own headphones and remote controls. the comment from one of the guys when he got in the back was "i cant beleive how far away from the front of the car i am". In the front your spoiled by a beautiful dash display, sunk deep in and subtley lit in a gentle blue/white, it was gorgeous. there are alot of buttons but you almost dont mind the exeedingly cluttered look as its like toys'r'us, (it is very cluttered) how your meant to concentrate on the road i have no idea. This car is luxury, no doubt about it, an inspiring interior and i was very impressed. first class!

What can i say but, AMAZING. i was driving this to another site today and i absolutley loved it, to controls were silky smooth and it pulled like a train on the motorway it was like a missile! the seats were comfortable and the suspension tight, the audio was ear blisteringly loud yet still crystal clear. the gear change was unbelievable and the clutch sporty and firm, yet forgiving...... NO.... wait flip all of that round and thats the real verdict, to reuse a word i do like; it was SHART! i would SHART all over it and in it. and while sharting in it, i would call some freinds over to shart on it some more, i wouldnt even mind being seen with my trousers down in public just so i could give it the good SHARTING it deserves! so meh! its awfull. on the plus side though it was solidly doing 60.8MPG

Theres a number of Mountune Focus ST's, golf R32's in cov at the moment :\ basically if there are any cars around at all if im being "enthusiastic" i get jumpy these days. they dont have to be in lovely new cars either. they arre getting wise. near stirling where i used to live they had something like an Aygo going between two of the villages all day, they just carried on slowly and caught up with the boy racers that had overtaken them when they got stuck at the village lights and traffic
