By the looks of the Zed i think he suspected it was more powerfull, alot of people do i suppose, it has alot of road presence but when it comes down to it there are alot of more powerfull cars out there

+1 its quite easy to plug back in free up the gear stick surround (AC controls) by pulling up at the back, will click off, no screw. take out the 6 screws you can see under the level of the stereo, also the ones in the cubby if present. pull out on the whole system by releasing the clip at the top behind the triple gauges. put your hand round the right hand side at the top under the triple gauges, there should be a white connector, make sure its home completely there is a guid ehere somewhere

thought id give this a stab on here incase i get lucky I have a little project on my plate from work involving mercedes and bmw vehicles. basically i need to gather as much information as possible regarding thier electrical networks and architectures. how thier gateway module interacts with the multiple CAN, flexray or ethenet possibly present. how diagnostics are performed on newer vehicles, which ports are used. what ports are present on the vehicles to access the networks. also any information on ways the vehicle is interfaced during PDI. the list goes on...... If anyone has any info on this, new models mainly or any contacts withing bmw/merc that could be of help please give me a shout it would be most appreciated! Cheers

if they found the problem under warranty your fine even a little bit after you can usually get away with it with most manufacturers. i would chance it and see if they would replace the bulbs for you, what you dont ask for you dont get.
