Great condition with mirror shine pipes, clean and looking great! This is the cheapest way to bring that V6 rumble to life while being beautifully refined as nissan intended. which section do you mean? the centre section with the trip gauges?

i took mine out for added mpg and lightening the car as its a heffalump already. got two cans of tire weld and an RAC card. plus, thats alot of storage space freed up, i have my jump leads, tools, etc etc in there.

thats the frustrating thing about the LED stuff. You only get to properly enjoy it at night when you dont use the car as much and meets dont take place

I emailed peter at zunsport, he asked me to fwd him some better pictures when the weather improves. i just got back from a quick 10min detailing and piccy session in the glorious sunshine. I have asked him about the towing eye but hes yet to get back to me, i will fwd the new pictures and the list of people when i get home at 5 yes, i will post the piccys here aswell

i'd clay the car once or twice a year, like after winter, to get all the muck embedded in the paint off. whenever the weathers nice and you have time, wash, polish then use a hard wax on it out of a tin, maybe once a month in the summer. I'd try my best to give it a wash once a week if its my daily driver, even if its raining and you dont get the chance to use any wax its still better than leaving it mucky. use something like this to give it protection: Or this aqua wax which i find the best product ive used to date, very very quick and easy to put on and looks amazing. You can go way way way more into this but it just gets confusing when your starting out, just buy a nice woolly mit to wash and build up your collection of bits as you go. EDIT: clay, as long as it takes || wash polish wax, a few hours || quick wash 45 mins

but its far far more efficient and can run clean i believe via photo-detonation, also it can run on a much larger range of fuels as it can achieve a higher pressure which allows less volatile mixtures to burn. correct me if im wrong as thats from memory. what do you mean by move away from internal combustion? you mean electric? we are so hung up on the internal combustion engine because theres so much industry supported by the demand for oil to run it.

it is crazy as every other part, from the chassis to the fuel injection system, has gone through a complete change to something totally different to what was used 100 years ago when the heart of the car has stayed the same. If you google the quasiturbine engine you will find something that has been designed by a group of engineers that wiped the drawing board totally clean and designed a unique and extremely robust engine from scratch.

Just thought this would be interesting to those non engineering types who have never seen an engine in bits or in CAD. Also its interesting to us sad engineer types. and if you ever wondered how utterly bonkers a W16 like in the veyron is, imo this is way off the layout but does show the number of pistons and the wacky amount of movement. heres a rotary engine like mazda's: heres a radial engine if you want to know how it works hope thats of interest

that FTO engine bay reminds me of my old GTO one although mine wasnt as shiney
