  1. I WANT ONE OF THEM!!!
  2. ive not seen it yet but i look forward to the laugh
  3. i wouldnt be dissing it so quickly adding a small car to their solely fast car range fiddles with the companies CO2 image with this car in the line up the average CO2 of AM cars is lowered. this means they can spend less time ruining the good ones with CO2 reducing stuff.
  4. pm on its way.
  5. also remember to double check the torque of the wheel nuts after a few miles as they are all new bolts in there
  6. good plan

you could sell the cd on to another member though, maybe cheap, *cough*penny*cough*
  9. as long as there is no tension on the bar when you begin undoing the bolts to the car you'll be fine.
  10. When loosening the centre nut on the bar is it just a case of counting how many complete turns you make and tightening by the same number of revolutions when putting it back on? should be yes
  11. you could hammer your old studs out but risk damaging the hub you could use a press to get them out, safer on the hub but it'll cost you unless you know someone with one and you need to take the hub off.
  12. dont over torque the bar tensioner. the bar will bow and if it is already spaced to allow a plenum spacer underneath it will interfere with bonnet and if bad enough damage your bonnet. as already mentioned you dont need to go wild when tightening it.
  13. you would use a crows foot
  14. slacken of the two outside ones then turn the inside one to slacken the bar, you will see the thread moving into the bar. then take the 3 bolts out each side and then the 1 nut each side and it will come off, if its awkward you need to turn the middle nut on the bar. dont forget there are some bits of harness clipped to it. The torque values and procedure for putting it back on are contained within the workshop manual which is downloadabel EDIT: like the PDF above
  15. ouch
  16. do it stan then take pics
  17. sorry stan its my job to worry about this stuff i am a perfectionist though if that helps explain.
  18. so much easier for a passenger to find the rattles, shes finally usefull
  19. How????? Which reflectors or puddle lights? Puddle lights are just bulbs in the door bottoms my Rex had them in the base of the wing mirrors. Great idea although everyone laughs when you tell them! Re: reflectors why not pop them out and drill a small hole halfway from inside to fit a red high power LED for example then pop the reflector back in - can't be too difficult really? Same for the puddle lights just use White LEDS they are small enough to conseal in the base of the door or card? ahh its always simple your problem then comes from powering them Well not really mate they are just LEDs run them off the interior light circuit - can't take that much power can it? how do you get that to the door? through the door connector...? has it got any spare pins to use? its a watertight connector so you dont want to muller it to get them through. plus attaching things to the dome lights is just a bad idea without protection as ive proven.
