  1. nope not lowered, some 3mm spacers on the front though to bring it out a tad more oh and that front bumper has to go! the match is pretty spot on to the naked eye but the camera has really picked up on it there. the previous owner ruined it and my drive had its way with the sides, so combined with the millions of stone chips its going.
  2. Today some bits arrived from chilli store, they arrived about 16 hours after me ordering them big thanks to Sarah So some Phillips silver bulbs, some clear reflectors and a pot of rim wax. The bulbs went in along with the reflectors and then rim waxed the front wheels, have to say rim waxing matte wheels is far from fun or easy then gave a tyre shine and clean and took some piccies. managed it all including picture taking in 4 hours a few days previous to this i fitted 3mm spacers to the front wheels to bring them to a 22 offset

  20. no worries i read it all. I use the term "read" lightly as i started skimming. All the info is there but its a bit of a brain dump so not much of a "101" in my eyes. going to sit down and properly get my teeth into it on wed night i think.
  21. Getting there, getting some new parts laser cut at the weekend dont let me hold you back though matey always good to see variety and different approaches
  22. apart from when the drowsyness sets in i was thinking more like making a jacket yourself. and dont use zed heater pads, no need for that, just use VAG ones im sure they are common as muck and normally have a 1-5 dial for them too. you could put a simple thermostat in if you felt like it too. It would be an option to just put them under the bottle to heat the compartment, you'd be surprised how hot those elements actually get if there isnt a seat of your arse soaking up the heat.
