one thing you can count on, nissan will give you a good giggle you could get them wrapped by a vinyl wrapping company in carbon dinoc for pennies in comparison.

worth a shot :P from what ive heard the zed is pretty cack on its protection underneath. not designed for our roads, salt etc. hence the exhaust on every car dying a death in the same place

hmm steam + electrics probably wont go well together no. If you did take it to nissan they would plug it in to diagnostics (cost prob £90) and find out where the fault code is, if there is one. to me it sounds like either a module is faulty or a connector is shorting. Due to the range of things that dont work it could be the BCM that has been steamed? it i located alongside the accelerator pedal and has about 9 different connectors going into it. right next to the carpet in the driver footwell. its a bit of a fight but you could take the module out and inspect it for any water/moisture, if you find it i would go at it with a hair drier immidiately befroe it all corrodes. I'm not saying this is definately what it is but that is my first guess. but i disagree, if they broke it, it IS their fault

+1 my thoughts aswell, there is a bedding in procedure you can follow for optimum braking got there in the end though

I think we all know that mens opinions are actually an illusion, we dont actually have them but are tricked into believing we thought of something ourselves. The only time we are allowed to think by ourselves is when it involves a torque figure or a hammer, even then it can sometimes be touch and go if we are doing the right thing.

ok so i went here http://www.ebcbrakes.com/contact.shtml and sent this to EBC This is regarding the use of yellowstuff pads on grooved discs on the Nissan 350z but applies to cars in general. There is currently confusion as to wether these pads are at all suitable for use with grooved discs. Can you clarify for myself and the 350z community if this is the case? And if not, what your reccomendation would be from your catalouge for use with grooved discs. Cheers,

i had a scotsure warranty. although a good warranty it is easily mucked up as they obviously dont want to pay out if they can help it. Definitely a valuable bit of paper if its used in the right way. Mine wasn't, Fail.

3mm rich, i have 3mm ones on and tbh i dont really feel comfortable with it and im still going to put longer studs in. i would guess 5mm would only give you about 2-3turns of the nut
