I'm just turned 25 too mate. and that same quarter century feeling is there.
Currently I look after software and electrical development for freelanders, sounds ok and to some extent it is I guess. But when you take your hobby and turn it into a job it just isn't what you expect it to be! So before I got to the end of my rope I have found a new job and put everything in motion to move. I'm going to be calibrating gearbox control software (shift change patterns etc etc) Which means i basically get to dick about in cars alot and go abroad to drive them on ice lakes etc.
The point I'm making is don't just think about it. Get up and do it. There are tons of options out there and you never know, like me you might strike it lucky and find your dream job is closer than you think
