I can't see it happening to be honest. His people are saying that he won't be coming back. Not sure he would be up for it half way through a season. I wouldn't want my reputation of champion being tarred by coming back as a stand in driver.

I had the JDM Sat Nav in when I bought my car and had it pulled out and a new Sat Nav entertainment system installed with AV in. Just bought a freeview settop box that runs of the cig lighter. Plan is to install it where the old birdview DVD was sat (behind drivers seat) and hard wire into rear cig lighter. Will have free view tv and digital radio stations then. Just haven't got round to it all yet!

The button next to my traction control is for the rear fog light. JDMs don't have rear fog lights and they are put onto a switch (generally) next to the ESP button. Go round the back and check your fog light.

Its annoying because I love the sound but not sure if I could live with it everyday. I have heard 2 in the flesh and its a sweeeeeeeeeeeet sound!!!

Thanks for the info. It does feel like it's a synchro issue. I was testing it tonight and if I apply pressure away (to the left) it seems to go in better than if I just pull down without any sideways pressure. Maybe thats why it us fine from 3rd to 2nd as well. As long as I don't need a new gear box!!!

I seem to get a noise (possibly a slight crunch feel as well) when I change from 1st to 2nd gear. Now this only happens occasionally and only appears to happen when changing at low revs. If I go above 3/3.5k it never seems to make a noise and it never makes the noise when going from 3rd to 2nd. Its very strange and although it doesn't seem to be causing any problems (that I know of) it is just weird and frustrating. Does anyone elses Zed have this problem or should I be worried?!? This is where someone tells me my ear box is knackered and I need a replacement for one millllllllllllllllllllllion dollars!!!!

I am no expert but wouldn't think there was much in it. If you compare IanS16 to Nurrish's results you will see the difference. Ian is on the Nismo ECU and Nurrish is on the stock. Can't remember the mods they both have but pretty sure they are similar and both running just over 300bhp ATF and in the region of 290tq I think (think Nurrish may have less tq). Very similar results on 2 different ECUs.

Its cost about £230 delivered. you really feel the benefits in 2nd and 3rd when you put your foot down. It pulls more and feels smoother. Think you will get more tq than hp with this mod. When you going to RSTuning. I am trying to get in on 15th Aug but they are looking at an UpRev that day so not sure if I will be able to get in. Here is hoping though!!!

Nice one, might pop in on Thursday as I am over to have an exhuast fitted by CS. They have some good kits in and seem reasonably priced. Plus I like buying from a place that fits so that they know it will fit!!

You can feel the extra power through the midrange. Not sure until I get the car dyno'd again the exact increases though. Its very easy to fit. Un-screw some bolts, remove some hoses, slide in spacer and then re-attach. Only thing to be careful of is overtightening the bolts. I fit mine in about 1.5 hours.

It was around £230 delivered from Envy a trader on here. I don't think you can keep the standard strut brac with 1/2" spacer but it gives slightly more tq I believe. Sure someone will confirm.

It's hard to describe. Feels smoother and definitely feel it has more pull in the mid range. Will see what it's done when I get Dyno'd again.

I pick up the plenum next week. Just couldn't wait to fit the spacer!!! should also be getting the exhaust fitted early next week.

Thanks Sarah . Just spoke to Gaz and he said that they are optional and general not fitted on UK cars. I am just always worried when I have extra bits left over!!! Thanks again.

Cheers Maccaman , thought that was the case which is why I didn't fit it but just wanted to check. Any thoughts on the Thermal gasket? I didn't understand this bit but it does say you can leave the stock one in. I am only bothered about fitting this if its going to make a difference in performance but if not I will leave it.

Just received my plenum spacer from Envy performance and decided to fit it this morning. Just a couple of questions though for people that have one of these. What does the Coolant Control Valve do and does it need fitting as part of this kit? I haven't fitted this as of yet as I wasn't sure if it was required. There are other bits in the kit that don't need fitting to my car (53 JDM) like the Thermal Aramid Manifold Gasket (or not that I could figure from the instructions anyway!!). Although I think this is below the lower plenum and I didn't do anything with this. Should this have been done as it seems to say in the instructions this is for the MREV2. Also are the guiding pins meant to be totally removed as they are redundent once the spacer is fitted. Thanks for the help chaps. Grant

Hey everyone, my windows seem to appear to have stopped dropping when I open the doors. They are trying to go up when the doors shut but obviously don't do much as they haven't dropped in the first place. Both passenger and drivers side are doing the same. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be or how to fix them to go down again? Thanks Grant
