  3. ah cool from the site i go the impression the stock was all up north but if they hold stuff in surrey i may be taking alittle trip down soon.
  4. woooh multi post ! cheers , might/probably will give them a pm. do they keep stock at the surrey branch as that would be kinda of doable for a visit (waits for sarah/gaz to post )
  5. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350Z-GT-VE ... 72002r7155 think his power is a little exadurated too for MY02 328bhp from a nismo zorst and intake !
  6. that was one of the main sites from here but il take your hint and keep hunting , always good to have the real thing if nothing but for peace of mind on fitment .
  7. wish i could afford the real one at £545 vs £315 best price ive seen for the seibon or if i was lucky grab used veilside but used carbon lips seem to be like rocking horse pooh to find
  8. hi all looking to get a carbon front lip and think il go for the seibon vs style (im guessing vs =veilside style) anyone got one of the seibon or the other styles ? thanks
  9. got anything else fitted ? decats intake manifolds etc all bump up the volume.
  10. i hope it comes back all shinney and clean free from paw prints
  11. man thats one carbonised engine bay ! infact your engine loks carbon wiht that plenum and cover
  12. if you have it ducted directly in then posibly , maybe this is why nissan didnt put i there to start with ? the stock air box looks soooooooo designed to have that scoop yet does'nt . best for peeps wiht the duct to go from here !
  13. Yeah - i have the same setup. Air scoop goes into the front middle of the bumper (so pretty high up). The filer itself is housed in a black metal case, but this isnt air-tight. So are we correct in assuming that the chance of hydrolock on this setup (if we stay away from 2 foot deep puddles!) is pretty slim? yes unless you submerge it the air gaps in the box will stop it since the vacuum takes the easyest path aka the gaps. on the down side it also means that the scope probably wont do muhc either on a side note anyone really worried should look up an AEM bypass valve .
  14. slightest air gap and the weight of water vs air means it wont suck the water up if you had sucked in enough water to get in to the engine afaik 2 things can happen .. tiny amount goes in ,engine burns it up (vaporises it), basically you got lucky you suck in so much it gets hydrolocked and your forked !
  15. another vote for ditch the silly grills and get some mesh , dont want to be picking leaves etc out of it all the time .
  16. might aswell ditch the rear wiper now then . looks great , how was the fitment ?.. looking for one myself once i get funds back flowing again.
  17. theres abig thread somewhere on there about how muhc bhp and hong long the engines have lasted on stock internals .... as wiht all engine that dont start fi alot have gone boom on 400 or less and plenty have lasted. comes down to how yoou use the car and then even if youa re easy itsa lottery .
  18. Z1 over the pond have an origianl nismo but expect to pay for the bolt straight on fitment quality. oh and my personal fave front end too.
  19. yep those little almost useless spots , my subs amp is under the glove box. be a super stealth instal , heck i couldnt even get a box of tissues in those little boxs .
  20. lol can you imagine a vq in a micra , would be more engine than car !
  21. my best guess would be one yes , 2 get your tape measure out. i got my fujitsubo back box in but couldnt get the oem one in (although my sub box may have been the reason)!
  22. -1 board already , completly lost interest in this thread culdnt care less if he gets his finger out and post some more details.
  23. could be the switch on the drivers side door jam , open the door window fully up and press it. window should drop and go back up. if not may be dirty contacts or something oooor your window could need a reset.
  24. very common problem guys , just fixed mine by taking it all aprt and freeing up the motor. not sur ehow long this will work for but it seems the brushes get jammed and stop springing into place so once cleaned up they are nice and free so i suspect all our door thumping was just jolting the armature into contact. took me a few hours inc going out to get cleaner and a little fidley so if you can get a second pair of hands it can be done in day. check this one out..http://my350z.com/forum/maintenance-and ... motor.html
