  1. get all the +07 stuff on there when people wonder why they get blown away just tell them its the face lift engine
  2. +1 afaik they need to be right after the manifold or at the Y to work. theres a thread on here nearby about a Y+cat that would allow your setup think its made by motordyne as part of an inter changable Y pipe for silencers or pipe or cat.
  3. looking good , really looks liek it should be there
  4. or get silver carbon ?
  5. well if youve got a screen already its a cheap upgrade to do so might aswell do it
  6. well ive only really used it once so far backing up to my garage door. since the camera is right at the back edge of the car i should be able to basicaly back up will im about to hit the lense ! im off out for kfc laters (hmm lazy night) so il try and post some night vision shots while im out , oh and the lense if kinda fish eye aswell.
  7. How about an 07 in grey , best of both. The nicer look of th 07 but the fit and stealth of metel bonnet
  8. After santa left me some funds i spied deal going on a nice new double screen i thought it best to assit my usless parking abilites with a rear view camera. Screen went in a couple of days ago and now i finished the camera install this morning so after much faffing shouting etc i give you a small install guide with pics ! first remove the pasenger side cluster to gain access to the reverse bulb and the area behind the bumper then take out the sparewheel etc and youl see a bung right at the back of the boot in the middle. pop a small hole in in and eed your signal cable and video cable through, feed about 3 feet through so it can be dropped down and then grabbed back up to light openning. from here you can splice your power and reverse signal. then you need to feed both back to your headunit or screen. (see guides to runing wires for amps etc its really easy) i put my camera (£30 from maplins and also has IR night vision!) in the tow hole bung like a few other have. feeding the wires past the bit of polystyrene was a PITA but got there in the end just pull hard ! any hows end result ... hope this helps anyone doing this in future (edit to clean up my useless typing errors!)
  9. cheers , got the wires pretty much all done but.... that piece of polystyrene is giving me hell trying to get passed it ! at the mo im trying to feed the wires oout the bottom to the under side as it looks easyest but no joy yet , then just need to sort out unclipping the reverse light and crimping on and the the HU end (wires are rn just not hooked yet). once im done il post some pics for future ref.
  10. And the rest. Double that to do internals aswell Torque is the main issue & not HP as everyone seems to think, the rods are the weak point & they cant hold masses of torque. I'm sure I remember reading that anything above 400ft/lb is a ticking timebomb. dont go ther on my350z theres thread after thread about how long stock have lasted and how mhc people have put through the rods! also lucky **** can get rods and pistons for under $2000 ! soo not fair
  11. cheers, how did you get the wires in to the cabin/boot ?
  12. thread resurectioni know but does anyone have any instal pics for reversing camera ?? srobrien inparticualr as i liek the idea of mounting mine in the took hook (like im ever gonna tow some one with my Z!) , had a quck peek under the cap and it looks pretty sealed in .
  13. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350Z-Nismo ... 3efb8e94ad located in cambs gogoog

Will split the single din facia+pocket but sooner sell them togther as mean the cage doesnt have to be unbent from the facia. facia only £10 posted or you pick up form me if your near by ish head unit only £160 + postge (dont know muhc that would be yet) or as abve pick up some where near by . il also be at the next south east meet
  21. found it this may help . http://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-video ... guide.html
  22. moutning depth is key as i belive there not alot of depth mounting directly , was a thred on my350z wiht a list of the spacers needed for each speaker but no more
  23. do it all together if you can as the dash is a PITA to stuff back in especiialy on your own ! also if your planning on or think you mihgt to run a sub or anything else additional for that matter run the cables while its all out. good start would be the subwoofer rca and the amp signal wire to the glove bo/ space wher the sub is and might aswell rub a single coax to the boot for reversing camera too , then if you do go for upgrades there no rip it apart and strugle just for a rcas lead !
