  1. Good suggestion but he’s happy with the handling and aesthetics as it is. MCA Coilovers here in OZ are rated higher than Pedders hence why I went with MCA’s. Shipping from OZ to UK is stupidly expensive which is why I’m trying to get something from within the uk.
  2. Ha ha let's try that again. He will be 70 end of July and I want to get him something for his 350z roadster. He has just treated himself to some HFC's and an Invidia exhaust (thanks Torqen) and has booked it into to abbey motorsports for an uprev remap in 2 weeks time. He adores his Z so I'm trying to think of something I could get him and so far all I can think of is getting a used steering wheel and getting it retrimmed by Jack at Royal steering wheels or paying for a full detailing job . It doesn't make life easy for me living in Australia and I've only got 4 weeks to get it sorted. Any ideas ?
  3. Looking for ideas as to what I can get my dad for his 70th birthday coming at the end of July. See new post below
  4. I used 19lbft when I did my bbs lm wheels but I used brand new bolts. If you're reusing your bolts you may have to go a little lower? Also use locate. A good silicone sealant to seal the wheels will be ok e.g Dow corning
  5. 370z nismo front bumper https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-370Z-NISMO-2015-ONWARDS-GENUINE-FRONT-BUMPER-P-N-62022-6GA0H/273883688920?epid=9007489649&hash=item3fc4bd6fd8:g:XtUAAOSwEzNc~kWN
  6. Absolutely exactly what I wanted to hear you say. I did pretty much the same thing. I’m 6 foot tall and have 5 fingers clearance above my head now and the driving position is perfect
  7. Did you get the bride mounting brackets too?
  8. Try recording the rattle and playing it here for us to listen to
  9. Had rattle in my old s2000 which drove me nuts and sounded like it was behind the dash but it was actually the rear view mirror
  10. It's your stability control kicking in. You cannot turn this off via the switch as that only deactivates the traction control. A member trader sells a kit on here that will turn SC and TC off, I have it and I never drive with them on
  11. Changed the seat from the comfy armchair like stock seat, to an uncomfortable as **** aftermarket seat but at least now I'm not clinging on to the steering wheel to stop me from sliding into the passenger seat everytime I go around a corner.
  12. 370z wheels on the roadster looks epic. What size tyres are you running? I presume you're using spacers up front?
  13. Sounds like it shouldn't be a problem. Look forward to seeing it once it's all installed
  14. At least you are make your modifications with a clear goal in mind and analysing the effects of the mods good and bad . Any research into if the rear turrets can handle the force of high kg spring rates ?
  15. 10kg is a tad stiff for true rear coil overs. What kg will you replacements be?
  16. Seats, coilovers, rear wiper, de cats
  17. A pretty car is a pretty car no matter what the make is and I think all true petrol heads will always look at a pretty car.
  18. I live in the countryside of Oz and every other vehicle is a Toyota land cruiser or Nissan Patrol (I actually like them) so a 370z kind of sticks out a bit .
  19. Glad to here it, mostly I get ****er gestures from young guys in their 4x4’s
  20. Damn it, this just what I’m looking for only for a 370z. A very good deal for someone out there. Good luck with the sale
  21. I did the same thing a few months ago only I cheated and bought a ready made kit from a member trader on here. Found it irritating how the stability control kept on intervening during play time so now it's permenantly off. Only thing now is, with the sticky tyres I have its highlighted how poor the stock lsd is and how the stock seats have very little lateral support. Time for an o's giken lsd, 3.9 fd and a pole position recaro seat.
  22. As Ekona said, the feel they give makes such a difference to how much confidence it gives you when cornering. Playing with pressures at the moment, with ambient temps at 24c ,I set the front and rears to 30 psi cold which when hot had risen to 34 front and 32 rear. Could do with some advice regarding pressures.
  23. Just been out in the mountains to see what difference a decent set of tyres make and I can confirm , it's alot. These tyres have way more grip than I have talent and it has made the car so much more fun to drive . Worth noting I went with 255/35/19 up front but kept the stock size rears.
  24. Yeah it’s great here I love it, snakes, fires, cyclones, crocs, sharks, spiders, jelly fish and all oh and not forgetting the suicidal Roos that are determined to kill me and themselves every time I drive at night
  25. Oh and this pic my wife took in the middle of the day
