How do the Silvatec bulbs compare to the standard type bulbs in terms of their brightness? I read somewhere that they aren't as bright as the original bulbs ... I used Phillips Silver Vision bulbs for my front indicators and they're brilliant compared to the old ones ... however I want to change the rears now and can't really justify spending another £13 on bulbs ... I was thinking of using the Silvatec ones instead but wasn't sure ...

Have you got access to an OBDII reader? If so get the car connected up and check for any error codes ..

I have exactly the same problem on the drivers side ... If someone is going to attempt a strip-down and re-spray on them can you take a few photo's along the way as I'd be interested to see the correct way of removing, prep'ing and paitning them ... Thanks!

It has been discussed on this forum in other threads that the cone air filters don't do anything for you in terms of power ... infact they actually decrease the performance slightly .. For best performance I'd recommend getting a post 06 airbox with a good quality performance panel filter ...

In situations such as yours .. I usually just accept their friend request and add them to the limited profile group ... Then after a week or so I usually remove them ... most people don't even notice that you're not on their friends list anymore ...
