Filling up the Z from empty requires a bank loan! I do have a diesel that does marginally better mpg than the Z so i try to swop them, even it out a bit. I was surprised to see the Z was getting 27mpg the other day. Unfortunately, i was stuck on the A14 in a 50MPh limit but its never been anywhere near 27! Guess we need to get our push bikes out of the shed?!?!

Hey All, Was thinking about updating the Satnav but the stealers want £110.63 + VAT for the most recent 2009 disc. Is this the only way i can get an update? I could by a Tom Tom for that money!!! Any suggestions??? Ta very much x

Nixy - Its nice to hear you son went to help. Most people would just pretend they didnt see it. Poor Kittie, I hate to see cats by the side on the road, Someone will be missing them. I always try to help, hoping that if its my cat, someone would help them. I had one of my kitties cremated last week, Cost me £170!!! Unfortunately vets can charge what they like - if you need them, you need them! Im just grateful i have horse insurance - my vet bill for 1 injury ( 1 of many last year) cost me nearly £4000! You never see a poor vet!!!

Sorry to hear you car has a few war wounds. For these reasons i try to avoid the dealers. Not much help for you but a story anyway. A guy local to me put his Z into the dealer for some work and they scratched a few panels. They were quite bad and unable to be removed so they offered him a daft deal on a new 370Z as compensation. He's now driving the 370z but i bet it wont be goint to the dealers anytime soon! Hope they look after you, Its a real shame we cant trust them with our cars.

You boys discussing tyres is like girls talking about shoes, Makes me giggle! I have the bridgestones, Great in the dry and i dont know about the wet performance as i drive like a sissy, not wanting to crash!! As Ekona has said, The tyres are the only thing keeping you on the road. If you push hard, dont be a cheap skate. As l'oreal say's.... "You are worth it" Paying an extra few ££££ for tyres is better than paying £££££££££££££££££££ on a new car once yours in on the wrong side of a hedge. My advice - Go for the best you can afford.

I bet OK magazize wont pay ££££ for pictures of that!!!

I think you can see the Fiat influence on the new astra, Still like the previous Astra, but i guess i am slightly bias as i have one parked on the drive! But dont worry, The Z is way cooler!!
