  1. I bought my Zed just outside Belfast and brought it back home on the Larne-Cairnryan ferry with absolutely no problems. I take it the ferry you went on was only a small ferry?
  2. The strange thing is that I watched this yesterday in the office, and found myself dying to get in the car after work as if it was a new experience of driving it all over again.... Is that the 350z experience?
  3. After watching the review on Monday night on Fifth Gear for the 370z I was interested to find a review for the 350z and I found this one which is a fantastic review of the car. Just realised I had posted in the 370z forum so though I better stick it in the right section
  4. I was searching for 350z reviews on youtube and came across this review by Fifth Gear. She says everything that we all love about the 350z and I don't think there can be any better review of this fantastic car.
  5. 40 years old 8+ years no claims discount Underground secure car park No mods to declare Protected No Claims Discount £225 Fully Comp with Admiral
  6. Notice it parked quite a few times just after entrance to Gartnavel hospital your coming up from the tunnel. But was driving past today and seen it driving out. An 05 plate.
  7. This is what i couldn't understand, surely it should be tested along with the Z4 and Boxster. Is this no it's main competition in the marketplace. I'm not sold on the look of the 370, seems to be going back more towards the 280z, I much prefer the 350 in looks. Was really good to hear Tiff saying the only two complaints he had about the 350z was the strut in the boot and the plastic cubby hole in the armrest section. High praise indeed if they were the only complaints. Anyone got a link to his review of the 350z, the missus says she seen him driving it on the telly in a repeat the other week.
  8. Did they ever do a test on the programme of the 350? They speak quite highly of it on the website.
  9. I bought this second hand of a mate who really needed the cash, it has Windows Mobile 6.1 installed, had a high resolution touch screen, and a full qwerty keyboard flips out. It also has a GPS receiver built in so you can install TomTom onto the device. I would have kept it for myself but I have the HTC Touch Diamond, both have the same operating system and functionality but I have been using the Diamond for a while and too used to it now to swap. I am going to post it on ebay in a week or two's time but will put it up here to begin with. It has some scratches on the back of the phone, but the front is in really good condition. Looking for £180, all that comes with it are the charger as he didn't have the box. But the only software you need is downloadable as it uses Activesync (XP) or Windows Mobile Server (Vista) to transfer data or sync with outlook etc These phones are going for around the £300 mark or above on ebay. Also it is unlocked to any network, it has a Vodafone pay as you go sim card in it and I tried my orange sim and it worked fine.
  10. Must be one of those altered models as it states it has 4 seats
  11. Went to see this last night and it was as good as I was hoping it would be. There are some very good laughs all the way thru the film, even during the end credits Brilliant.
  12. On the other hand though, it's always great when it turns out to me something really simple. Huge relief eh?
  13. Is that one of those Cineworld cards? Me and the gf both have them, definitely worth their weight in gold, especially with all the blockbusters coming out this summer. Yup, £13 a month or £7.40 for each cinema visit, its a no brainer! There are always 2 films a month to go see. Why not always go on Wednesdays with your good lady, that's what we usually do. Orange Wednesdays, only £6 odds for both of us which works out at just over £3 per person per film. Then the roughly £30 spend on hotdog or popcorn combos
  14. I have been waiting on this coming out for the past few weeks. Watched umpteen trailers and was just hoping it wasn't a case of all the funny bits were in the trailers...
  15. But it doesn't matter if it's a lump sum or instalments. There are not many big money transfers which are dealt in lump sums, even the £5M-£6M transfers are done by instalments etc. But if Utd go in to buy some big money players like those mentioned, these will be done via instalments as well...
  16. Mines pumps out an odour when I first turn it on but only lasts a few seconds, I take it this is what they are talking about? Question is, where do you put the can when you don't have a rear passenger footwell
  17. Can you not tell us all Nurrish, I have been thinking about getting a system to fit the cubby hole at some point. Would love it to be a Car Pc to hold far more music etc and bonus if it could have a touch screen which fitted the cubby hole with SatNav as well, if it were a Car PC I would prefer to install TomTom but suppose I could live with another piece of satnav software.
  18. I wouldn't have thrown them in the nearest hedge, I would have driven off with them and dropped them in a drain a few miles away. I hate people who feel the need to be confrontational like this pwick, I had a guy once when I had my Saab 95 Aero, he overtook me on the M8 heading out of Glasgow on the inside lane as I was stuck behind a slow coach. He was in a crappy Corsa so I chased after him and overtook him properly. Once again he undertook me while I was behind another car, so I done the same to him, but when I went to take him on the inside he started moving over the lanes, luckily there was a slip road as well so I dropped a gear and blasted past, all the time he was trying to push me off the road. So I kicked on and got out of sight. Came off the M8 at Newhouse and he appeared behind me, I turned off the motorway and coming down to a roundabout and he overtook me then pulled in so I couldn't pass. Jumps out the car and starts ranting and raving asking if I think he bothers about his car or not, I tried to be reasonable and say exactly what did I do wrong as HE was the one who undertook me and when I tried to do the same thing he tried to run me off the road. He kept ranting and raving and eventually reached my breaking point, so I duly got out the car and set him straight The guy obviously thought himself to be a big man, but there is always someone bigger around the corner. Hopefully he will think twice the next time he considers a bit of road rage.
  19. It's not just a simple webcam or two, it's a specialist webcam and a depth sensor as it scans in 3d not just 2d. There is also processing power in the unit as well as software, but don't imagine it will cost more than the console though. I would imagine they will be trying to keep it under £100.
  20. Watched the video this morning with Molyneux and it looked absolutely different class with Elo interacting with the woman.
  21. What I don't understand is how exactly does your company see the logic in sending you home for 11 weeks and paying you full pay for 9 weeks as some way of dealing with the credit crunch? Surely if they are going to pay you full wages for 9 weeks they would be more prudent to have you working at the same time??? That makes absolutely no business sense to me? Can you tell I'm jealous
  22. £80. Then you will pay another £80 to transfer to your Z as far as I'm aware....
  23. Can save yourself £200 per YEAR by getting a pre-06 plate. Game set and match Jae, the 06 plate onwards fall into the £400 a year road tax bracket. It's something else to consider.
  24. Phew, had been taking it easy last night with this mad idea that I would see the wheel go off in the distance or something stupid like that.
  25. Seen it heading down towards Bailleston interchange (outskirts of Glasgow) last night, I was in the Shell garage across the road getting some V-Power
