    COLOUR Z

+1 - that colour only ever looked good on a TVR Didn't they do something similar on the Primera and some Micras? Yes on the Primera for sure, Bmw do something very similar on the new mini.
  14. Sure I saw something only the other day from a pilot whingeing that the chances of more than one engine failing at the same time were infinitesimal. Hmmm. He his probably right but you never know, i think a double engine birdstrike is possible, especially if you have a look at this pic. http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0 ... id=0652327
  15. Think Boeing still prefer the Hydraulic method, Airbus tend to be more Fly by wire. Even with power failure i would of thought that there would be an auxillary power backup for the essential controls. What about a double engine birdstrike??
  16. Pic of 777 engine failure. http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1 ... id=0336520
  17. Before it was trashed http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1271968/L/ just another theory fuel starvation, not the first time BA have had to land a plane in an emergency because short of fuel. They had to land a 747-400 at Manchester a few years ago because it could not make Heathrow on a flight from L.A
  18. Yes fair play to the pilots if this is the case Even though it may be the firct crash for the 777, its certainly not the first incident, quite a few engine failures have occured on this type and some software issue's have occured in the past. It will be interesting to find out the reason for the total loss of power. Hole in wing and fuselage will be the undercarriage i would of thought. http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1318128&size=L
  19. I'm still trying to decide between Donny and Wales run, as I could do the Wales run later in the year, but Donny is only once. Flip side, I could do Wales and the car shows much closer to me Am trying to drum up support for both events to be honest. Neither has 20+ yet. Its still early yet but i bet that both events especially Wales will be very well attended, i would hope and expect the numbers for Wales to beat last April's great turnout. I need to speak to Jacko about Wales as i think it's time for a bit of a change to the route and to the way Wales is run.
  20. I am locking this thread off, not happy about it too. Will discuss with other mods/admin to see what decision is to be made.
