I might be wrong but I think commuter trains in Japan run in excess of 300mph. 186 is the highest we have achieved in the uk (PATHETICALLY) on the channel tunnel rail link Only writing what i have read Bullet train is quite old now and i think it was 300 km/h. They have done test runs faster but this speed is for every day use.

Personally i think your nuts for selling something that you spent a lot of money on, only for someone else to get the enjoyment out of. Dont really see the point of it really. All you really achieved was to give bigphil a big chunk of money and get a magazine feature............oh and it was not even seen at the forum's meet of the year.
