Lol I don't trust myself with a polisher and I witnessed someone burn thru the paint to plastic while removing a scratch on someone elses car so with the wafer thin paint I think il leave it be for now Anyway this thread is about popping paint not swirls lol. I'm gonna ban u stew

The weather during the show was nice, a wee shower but apart from that sunny and very warm. It was the journey there and back lol lightening and torrential rain on the way home Il get the rest of the photos up tonight but here's one for now. We were representing Scotland in more ways than one

Gave the zed a good wash inside, cleaned inside and under the bonnet, and finished with a layer if megs tech wax 2 and some demon shine The paints popping like never before lol

I had this problem mate. Very annoying and embarrassing lol Got someone to put a wire hanger down the window to get it open, took the door apart, dismantled the lock mechanism, cleaned and reassembled and it's been fine since. It just seized up cos it had dried out

I considered a second car when the mileage started climbing on the zed. Was looking at celicas for around 6-700 quid. But the insurance put me off cos u can only use ur NCB for one car so that idea was soon out the window. I now use my wifes Audi for work a few days a week and kept a few thousand miles off the zed
