  1. If your budget stretches far enough would the new x3 or q5 suit? They'd prob be more spacious and good to drive
  2. Were mostly fans of skylines on here. I don't talk to those who aren't
  3. I know the cx7 was originally 2.3 petrol only. Not sure about the 5 but being smaller and newer I'd expect more economical engines available?
  4. Yea I remember that area near durness. The north coast is amazing
  5. I think the cx5 looks decent. The old kuga looked great not sure on the new one though. Qashqai would give you another option, facelift is nice and some come with very good spec lists. Cheap too Can't remember what the tiguan was like when pushed as this was a good few years back. But it was a hire car so it was pushed lol
  6. Musta been someone else lol
  7. Yea he's on the club. Saw it for the first time on the road on the way to the last meet. Drove together for a few miles thinking he was going to the meet as well but as I cut off the m8 he went straight on lol
  8. Hired a tiguan a few years back when they just came out. Comfy, decent spec, looks nice, good car all round. The R line is a good looking car The one we had included the auto parking, think it was the first car to put it into production? Prob wouldn't use it routinely but a cool gismo!
  9. Where abouts is that mate? Great idea taking a panoramic for a car
  10. There's a silver jdm on autotrader for under 4k if you don't mind a cat c
  11. Nope not me. Don't think Iv ever been in bathgate lol and the car is currently sitting in a garage with no front bumper or headlights
  12. To be fair anyone would be pi**ed off at someone driving at 10mph on any road
  13. Keh? That looks better than an m3? Ooooooookkkkkkk then........
  14. I think a few people who have moved onwards and upwards will toy with the idea of a cheap zed I moved downwards and backwards the skyline will be my 2nd car one day but I wouldn't rule myself being in another zed as a 2nd car. Or 3rd
  15. When I had the merc I was given a smart for2 as a courtesy car. Feared the worst, my colleagues called me gay.... but man that was a fun little car to drive! Slow as anything but felt rapid cos of the size/shape of the car. Daft gearbox- forward/back that was it but felt like I was playing mario kart on a DS
  16. Are skylines allowed on this stand? Was hoping to go to JAE this year but skyline owners don't have a stand. Not confirmed if I'm going for sure but hopefully

    Glasgow respray

Try IA bodyshop in dalmarnock. Not sure on the prices but quality is good
  18. That tacuma thing is it a daewoo? I hate that car! I get so wound up when I see one
  19. Ssangyong make sone truly ugly cars... Up there with the multipla, 5 series gt, new civic, new crv, recently I saw the dacia jeep thing and boy that's a cheap ass looking car! They had a piggy bank budget for that before it went into production Iv got a personal hatred for the aygo. Tin can on wheels. Hired one to pick up the skyline it was slow, crap, so poorly built, crap, more crap, the rear windows were crap, the interior trim didn't fully cover the doors. Did I mention it was crap?
  20. Speaking of Aberdeen- where's stew been hiding?
  21. Wow... Not too shabby at all mate If you really wanna make us jealous tell your dad to trade your zed in for a California for you... I think that's even nicer

    My azure blue z!

Best colour by miles, nice car
  23. A few people have added aftermarket rear lights or the clear jdm ones but I'm not a fan personally. The facelift led rears look great on any car As for the fronts some of us had colour coded internals with LEDs etc but the 2 guys I know of who done them no longer trade on here. Some have done them diy but not sure on the results
  24. Depends on how you want the zed to look. Ideally I'd want big bodykit, chunky wheels and a spoiler. If your thinking subtle I'd say spacers for starters, make a huge difference to the zeds presence, maybe a lip for the bumper, rear spats and subtle skirts like the type buster has? Some people have an overall look they want to achieve, some people buy mods individually on impulse as they go along
