They're the only ones intent of slagging off competing products, especially the S3 which isn't even intended for the same type of user. Fans of the alternatives do little more than state that Apple products are over-priced (£200 extra for £30 worth of storage? £30-60 to convert/replace all your cables/chargers?) and developing at a snail's pace these days. Engineering obsolescence into hardware/software is a cynical way to keep the Apple store tills ringing. The 4G functionality looks to be the first ****-up with the 5. The launch model will only ever work on Orange/T-Mob's LTE and not the official LTE frequencies being auctioned off here and used in most of Europe/Asia (2.6GHz).

I'm sure I've seen other cars on older 0x plates than they should be. Maybe they go on when the car was built/imported, which may well have been before Sep 2003. Can't think of another reason other than it being an early pre-launch import by Nissan UK for development/marketing purposes.

If it is then its had all of its bumpers changed to UK spec. That is a base UK model with seats re-trimmed. When a 5x plate car goes to a private plate and back, it always goes back onto a 0x plate.

HTC's do at least have a huge development community around them (going back to the Windows Mobile days) but that's mainly to correct flaws that shouldn't be there in the first place! Well my 18 month old HTC Desire is falling apart with random reboots and SD card incompatibility/corruption. Wi-Fi has been crap since I put Gingerbread on it. This year's HTC's are an improvement on last years though, except the Desire C and One V which are rehashes of old models.

Would avoid the current Windows Phone devices... They run a 2 year old CPU and highly unlikely to receive Windows Phone 8 being announced later today. Have seen a good review of the LG Optimus 4X HD but that's not out yet and won't be widely available. Barely run-in 370's start at £24k, a nearly-new Cayman is still £40k and will loose half it's value in ~3 years. You pays your money...

Influence of tyres is being massively over-played... The throttle is still wide open when he hits the grass (not that the OP is denying blame). Most tyre places have disclaimers on their receipts saying check the nuts/pressure yourself. To be fair 99.9% of cars on the roads have the same size tyres front/rear and you see plenty of cars with direction treads on the wrong way round.

My renewal last year was actually cheaper than the previous year and cheaper than a new policy price... First time it's happened in 10 years with them! Usually had to get them to match a new policy quote from one of their other brands (Elephant, Bell Direct). Not sure what will happen this year though, what with all the dodgy whiplash claims going on

Turbo engines with aftermarket ECUs and/or boost controllers are 1000x more like to detonate than a non-turbo running conservative factory maps. Knock can only occur when there's a lot of fuel being thrown in, i.e. full throttle and high revs. An early 350 would have to be driven like that constantly on regular octane to risk any damage.

You can buy a solid car at that price but if it's a UK GT it's likely to be high mileage with known issues or big bills looming!

There was a lot of overpriced tat 3 years ago when I was looking... Stop chipped noses, bubbling alloys, worn leather, obvious resprays... Bagged a mint low mileage non-GT from a main dealer for over £2k less. Might be up for sale soon well under that budget

Can't be too fussy on a limited budget. Condition *should* be king but a lot of people are blinded by leather/Rays and a particular colour... Often the clutch/flywheel/tyres/exhaust have had it and it's £2k to sort those out.

Nothing to do with GT spec of course, only low-spec JDMs came with 17s.
