  1. I had some orange high temp electrical tape delivered today so im using lomoto's method to colour code my induction rubber. Just need some orange samcos. will do the rest once my polished plenum arrives. before After R
  2. Aaaah that P*sses me off, i am fed up of these minks in Aberdeen who feel it ok just to break into your place. I own another flat on great northern road which i rent out, the communial front door is always getting kicked in and i have actually seen groups of neds walking up the road trying all the doors in sequence to see if one is open IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. Please refer to "Chav Scum" topic for a list of suitable punishments..plus you can add garotting with their own minescule manhoods to the bottom of that! R
  3. As said it was probably a cooper works or shnitzer of some type, highly tuned and would easy give the zed a run for its money. At least though your safe in the knowledge you look less of a girly shirtlifter in the zed R
  4. Are they really worth the money £60+ for some window wipers, for that they would have to be pretty damn good. R
  5. Its all quiet, so the pump will be knackered too...great! At least the insurance is paying for it. R
  6. Ahh the culprit. Do they have individual filling points or just the one, i recon the HL washer one probably got anhililated in the bump. Cheers R
  7. Hi, my headlamp washers have stopped working completely. They were fine until yesterday. I had a bit of a bump with another car last week and wrecked my bumper so i could have possibly split the tank. I filled up the tank yesterday to the brim but the washers still refused to work. I then checked the level and it had dropped to half a tank (although i couldnt see any water on the ground worryingly enough). Are there seperate watertanks for both or is the hose for the HL washers higher up in the tank of something? I have checked the fuse and it looks fine. Plus the windscreen washers are working fine. Im not that worried as it's going in the bodyshop next week so they will look at it, im just more puzzled than anything else. Cheers R
  8. That looks Wander how it would look on a GM? (Noise of credit card groaning) You tried her out on any speed bumps yet? R
  9. Do you have the nav unit in the cubby or a parrot kit hidden away somewhere? R
  10. Looks ace...got a set on order now. R
  11. Just been out to B&Q and spied their own brand powerwasher "performance power", it is 105bar and comes with a lance and bottle adapter all for £29.99, pretty good value. I have bought "performance power" power tools before and they have outlasted all my others. I know you get what you pay for but just thought it was worth a poke at under £30, not i big loss if its pants. Will try it out tomorrow and give my verdict. R
  12. Yeah looks better, what did you use to make it black? R
  13. Looking lovely mate, job well done....that Reg plate is ace too. R
  14. Yeah that would be good....we could maybe do it on Sunday or the next. R
  15. Yeah it definatly sounds throatier, do you know what he used to paint the rubber on the elbow? R
  16. Im supposed to be offshore as we speak but i took a trip off as i buggered my back, so i have another 3 weeks at home. A mini meet would be good but my zed is looking a bit sorry for itself and its not booked into the bodyshop till after the 3rd march. R
  17. Hi folks, just took delivery of my new pipercross intake from CS today. Very happy with the service recieved. Anyway I braved the cold and wet to go out and fit it...it looks the mutts and sounds awsome. Not sure about the red elbow though I will have to see if i can get it coloured orange or something. Also engine needs a good clean and MUST get plenum polished. Enjoy. R
  18. Every area around here is questionable....i would say there is a fair chance of getting knifed around here for trying that R
  19. Hey rtbiscuit, to be honest i can remember but i would say it was all one piece. I thought the 05 and 06 models were different though. R
  20. The controls work fine the wires on the ict cable just need to be snaploked to the corresponding wires on the control loom. Its a serious tight squeeze behind there though...very little room to work. R Did you get a chance to take pics which of the wires have to get spliced with which? Hi no i didn't i was getting quite irate by that point and just wanted the thing in. Its really simple though as when you buy the ICT cable there is instructions telling you which colour wire to pair to which. R
