The controls work fine the wires on the ict cable just need to be snaploked to the corresponding wires on the control loom. Its a serious tight squeeze behind there though...very little room to work. R

The fittings kit was around £30 inc p&p from the states, then another £16 to pick it up from parcel force. After all that I found you can get in from sextons direct for £14.99 http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/ict/p~50-256.html?cat=0 The USB was easy, just a screw either side of the arm rest and it lifts up so you can slip the cable underneith. the mic was also easy you can just push it under the trim. Ok folks, my facia FINALLY arrived after a stonking £16 import/handling charges! on a £10 item!! what? Anyway I just got stuck in and removed the centre console as per the wiki guide. Here you can see the new facia and the new stereo fitted. The fitment is still crap, there is a small gap at the bottom, its not too noticable in daylight but looks terrible under flashlight. Then it was simly a case of taking it out to the car and plugging it in. (Exscuse the mess there is still a fair amount of grit outside) The Sat nav sensor was placed under the dials at the top out of sight. I routed the handsfree mic to the sun visor. And finally i routed the ipod cable to the armrest cubby. There is also an adapter for a usb deviced there too. Done....for now R

Whilst out inspecting the damage to my car i noticed how well the collinite was working in the paintwork, some seriously big beads there on the roof. R

It is a VERY tight car park, doesn't help that people seem to think they need two spaces for a clio. The bumper is about 1/2 cm above the kerb....very close indeed. Last week when it was covered in ice i couldn't park up the the kerb otherwise it would have scraped. R

Thanks although i can't really say i was that unobservant, there was cars parked on double yellow lines at the corner of the road blocking my view...it was more bad timing. Im going to have to claim off my insurance anyway for the other car so it doesn't make any difference if i claim for a new bumper.

Yeah i had to pop the bumper back a bit, im really surprised how little damage was caused. I totally mauled the other car. Its going to need a complete new left hand side R

Yeah, i know its parked on a slope and the OEM bumper JUST fits over the kerb. Will have to start parking backwards if i get the nismo. R

Hey yeah it will need to be new as there a a hole in it...maybe CS can sort me out with a good deal on a nismo style one to go along with my pipercross filter R

If you want something small and fun go for the new VW Polo GTi 150bhp. I remapped one of these last year to around 200bhp and geez that thing was SERIOUS fun, plus its a 1.8 so if your not thrashing it the whole time its probably quite econimical. R
