All depends what kind of wax, generally the liquid you can leave on for a while, decent carabuna wax 5-10 minutes usually as if its left to harden it will be a real bitch to take off. As for time again it depends how thorough you are being, if its a hand polish with something like AG SRP then maybe 1-2 hours but if your machine polishing you can literally spend days on one job. R

[Rant mode initiated] Spent a weekend away in glasgow this weekend which meant a 400 mile round trip on motorways/dual carridgeways, and i have to say that without exeption EVERY audi driver I encountered was an utter knobless waste of space and scurdge of the road. Just to give you a wee taster of what i experienced. A large section of the M8 is undergoing roadworks whice means down to 2 lanes and a 40 mph limit is in force. There are 2 main reasons for this limit, 1: To stop you careering into cones at 70mph and 2: Because there are workmen working/crossing the roads and it reduces the risk for these guys risking their necks to improve our transport infostructure. Now im not known to doddle along the roads but for these reasons i respect the temporary speed limit and in part stick to it. So here I was driving along in the "fast" lane at around 40-45mph suddenly some fat beardy tw*t in an old style TT rams up my arse and starts flashing his lights for me to move. I decide not to take his crap and continue at afore mentioned pace. Still this tosspot continues with his flashing so i roll down the window and make a "4-0" signal with my hand, nothing rude just to indicate that the speed limit is a 40 and he should be sticking to it, but no he decided to fire on his full beams and drive behind me with them blaring. Now it was broad daylight but this gimp didn't seem to realise it was having no effect, but he continued to follow behind me with the beams on. This REALLY pi*sed me off becuase of the pure principle of the matter. He evenually pulled along side me at the lights, i saw him look down at the front of my car and shaking his head! this seriously infuriated me so i honked the horn, childishly gave him the w*nker sign and signalled for him to pull over, he didn't so i followed him to the tescos car park pull in beside him and near dragged him out his window, the arrogant piece of crap didn't seem to think that the limits applied to him and that he had the right to try and intimidate other roads users in his wankcharriot. Anyway, no fisticuffs were excanged but i shouted him down in the middle of the car park and he drove off looking pretty sheepish. My girlfriend was mortified but i was glad i made my point. Anyway this was just a TASTER of the audi arrogance i experienced, what the hell is wrong with these people???? R [Rant mode deactivated]

Heres hoping, the roads were totally empty on my side so personally i think i was driving safely. R

lol, funnily enough i parked my car in a dundee shopping center only to return to it catching two car park attendends looking round it with a fine tooth comb. Initailly though i was getting a ticket for parking over the line but they were having a good look over, they asked me who made it and everything. Can't believe how many people have not seen them before. Since I got my CF bonnet i get heaps of schoolkids waving at me and giving me thumbs up it would be gary glitters dream car R

Maybe someone can give me an answer to if im in trouble or not. Heading home on the dual carridgeway, speed limit 70mph, have to admit i was stupidly driving a little enthusiastically since the roads were clear, maybe 85-90 (speedo) mph. I saw a T5 travelling on the other side of the carridgeway so i slowed down so not to attract attention to myself. At this point i was travelling around 79mph (speedo) when about 1/4 mile down the road i saw two sneaky sneaker bike cops step out from behind the bushes with a gun, I instantly put the anchors on and got down to 70mph. The cops never persued me but im worried incase it was a camera and they got my picture. I recon with speedo overreading i was doing around 74mph and with the lee-way they need to give with hand helds I think i may have gotten away with it. Im worried incase the dreaded NIP appears through the door though. Needless to say it was 70mph the rest of the way home, last thing i need is a tarnish on my nice clean licence. R

you can flock on top of flock so its east to mix colours,other way is to mask it of but you wont get a good line,you can flock anything even a headliner,i think sparkle black looks good, if you had an embosed type of badge and pressed it in to the flock while the glue is still soft it flattens the flock in to the glue and looks like a brand mark. Hmm would be smart to have the 350z logo embossed into the passenger side dashboard. R
