  1. Was in the builders merchant car park, black badges all round, and had a Schlumberger parking permit. Never seen this one before, needs lowering and spacers though
  2. Well it wasn't that long ago he PM'd me asking for info on the M3 so there must be some deep rooted desire for self loving going on in there somewhere R
  3. And ALL S2000 owners are hairdressing poofs. even those selling S2000s I'm sure that's the correct answer Ross...... now now Stew, I wouldn't stoop to childish name calling levels
  4. Seriously you can't f*ck about with the space time continuum!! You could end up being your own grandad! Now thats messed up! Would that mean the M3 would be 1003 bhp (if letters were roman numerals)? Im down for that!
  5. Hey I'm potentially after someone to do me a big favour. I am organising a bike courier to pick up my new motor from an ebay seller. Problem is the ebay seller is being VERY inflexible with his availability time (ie only after 5 and weekends ) which don't suit pick-up. SOOOOO basically is there anyone in the area who has access to a van that would be available to pick it up so that to courier could collect it from them? I know its a big ask, but its either that or I need to rent a van and do a 10 hour round trip? Thanks R

    My New Car

Thats sex mate. I give it 8-12 weeks from now before the first mods start
  7. Sweet, what did you think of it? (before you broke it that is ) heavy lump it was a real good work horse actually, had an rvf 400 and it wasnt suited for driving to and from work so decided to get an r6... this I made into more or less a track bike so needed something else. Found the sv with low miles and thought that I'd use it for work, I did find it very boring to drive... I like to 'work' a bit on the bike so the race type bike suits me. The SV you plonked in whatever gear you wanted to and just pointed it in direction you wanted to go, massive low end torq so no need to gear up and down to keep 'her' in the perfect rev range. It was very heavy (handling) compared to any of the other bikes I'd owned, it took a good bit of amp of the battery to turn her too so found it painfull for short trips since the battery didnt get a chance to re-charge properly before it was time to stop. I did have a bike alarm on it and I think that didn't help things. (neither did the fog horns I installed to keep annoying car drivers at bay) All in it did do what it was intended to do. (but nothing more) I know people that love their SV.. I never gelled properly with it, well wear and watch the oil! Also get a fender going down further to protect the cylinder see below: well wear as they state in bike terms! Cool, it sounds like a pretty good starter bike then? Thats all im concerned about. At least if anything I will have massive arms after a few months riding it R

  9. Just bought my first bike as an incentive to pass my test. 2000 SV650S SY, fantastic beginners bike. I bid for it on ebay on a whim and won it at a ridiculously low price, only paid £1000 for it which is very cheap considering there is one EXACTLY the same in the local dealers with a tag of £2000 . Just organising delivery so will hopefully get it next week. Just a pity I can only look at it till I pass my test. Looking at getting some lowering fairings and sports exhaust before I get it on the road. R
  10. Normally im not a fan of stickered up cars, but that looks awesome! well done, as for the wheels, keep them silver or red. R
  11. Dunno mate, not decided. Probably just gonna get a cheap 600 either a gsx-r 600 srad, sv650 or a zx6r? Any suggestions? probably looking at about £2k, dont want to spend a fortune to start out, i'll probably end up binning it into a hedge anyway R
  12. Damn you guys!! I have my CBT booked for the end of the month and plan on doing my direct access after that. I'm really hankering after a bike, everyone offshore seems to ride and I'm feeling left out
  13. Your covies are too dirty Stew, did you fall over?
  14. Bad technique, but to be fair to him he is advertising as a valeter not a detailer and im sure his work would be fine for 80% of the motoring population....not me though. R
  15. Hi I am selling this system as I have just got a ps3 so no need for blueray player and gonna rethink my surround sound options. This unit has never been used, I have had it out the box but it's never even been set-up. The spec of it can be found here: http://www.lg.com/uk/tv-audio-video/hom ... B405SU.jsp http://www.hiwayhifi.com/site/product.a ... Prod=32014 This would be a brilliant little update for anyone looking for blueray. I'll sell for £90 delivered which is £110 less than what I paid for it in January. Cheers R
  16. Just renewed the M3 (Group 20), 27 years old, 2 year NCB, my girlfriend (3 pts) on the policy and a big(ish) claim 2 years ago...................................................................£670. Not bad! That's with bell by the way. R
  17. Fitting a V2 spoiler to my 350z then entrusting "carbon forza" to skin it in carbon fibre...what a disaster that was! Also dropping an axle stand on my M3 and denting it and possibly choosing the manual M3 over the DSG..manual is a great box but wish I had gone for the DSG (not really a disaster though). R
  18. Thanks, this is the drive I have: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/9044911/W ... oduct.html Probably not brilliant but does the job for my requirements at the moment. My project will probably be a sideline to doing up the rest of the house so will probably take a while R
  19. This idea is full win. You also need an 8TB NAS drive like Chesterfield. In fact just clone his drive as it's full of porn. , I have a 1TB wireless NAS but it's slowly filling up. (not with porn may I add).
  20. Hmmm some nice setups, i have been browsing the avforums and mentally spending A LOT of money , I am toying with the idea of turning the detached garage into a cinema R
  21. Just requoted myself from bell.co.uk, last year I paid £900, this year I was quoted £800 so I fiddled with my info slightly, nothing bad just changed garaged to kept on street, reduced my milage, upped my excess slightly...revised figure £650! Group 20, 27 years old and 2 yrs NCB...not too shabby!
