  1. looking good, what is the vortech bracket made from? I'm not a fan of how it looks, if its metal i could maybe have it polished. R

    Matte zed?

It will look the nuts especially with CF accents!
  3. awesome! get some engine bay pics up!! R
  4. Hear hear, I'm sick of getting taxed through the arse for earning what I do, the reason I earn it is because I spend a large portion of my life living on a gigantic metal shite hole in the middle of the ocean filled to the brim with highly explosive material, get to work by helicopter that could drop out of the sky and second just to keep this country in fuel which they decide tax the hell out of. If the tax rates went up for me it just wouldn't be financially worth the risk of having a dangerous job and I would jack it. Im pretty sure alot of my co-workers would follow. R
  5. Good move mate, we need more folk willing to do stuff like this, there seem to be no performance part manufacturers in the uk and it means that we end up paying through the nose for parts. R
  6. I'm just going to keep this page slowly updated with my parts/build for anybody that may be in the slightest bit interested or for those looking to start a build from scratch, hopefully it will help you. The first part of my build arrived today, a mishimoto radiator, should give approx 30% more cooling under boost. This was from http://www.amber-performance.co.uk/ , bloody fast delivery too, ordered it at 3pm and it came the next afternoon all the way from londonshire , cost was £279.95 delivered. Should have my cusco catch-can arriving soon, its coming from Japan as it was an ebay special, was £50 delivered. Have also bought NGK One step colder plugs from Ian, these were £40 delivered from him. Almost sorted out money transfer to assultech for the Vortech kit which I have also added the 3.12 pulley too. R
  7. Just bagged a mishimoto rad off fleabay for £279 delivered and a custco catch can for £50 whoop whoop! First parts in the bag R
  8. I think 2 is fine...ive just gone for the cusco. R
  9. Just stick it in there with some tie wraps R
  10. Hi, who has installed a catch can and which type, i'm not interested in bling bling £1000000000 ARC ones, just ones that look good and do the job. R
  11. Dude is it wrong that your zed gives me wood? R
  12. Yeah but you are a brand whore , HKS is a lovely kit though. I have read the bible a few times, very interesting reading have learned a lot from it so far. I have ordered the kit from Dan at assultech.com, very nice guy friendly and helpful. Coming to £2700 shipped , I've invited him on here so hopefully we will get him on board and get some nice FI group buys on the go. Just need to save up for the other bits now R
  13. Have you connected the amp-on power lead on the headunit loom? And anyway who needs music to drown out the SC whine? R
  14. Great isn't it, i'm just back for 3 weeks of sitting on my hoop playing splinter cell R

Damn how did that happen, was supposed to be a PM??!?!
  19. Yeah but at least its a start, get the kit on, start making some HP then upgrade as the cash comes in. Yeah I was considering this as an option, I could perhaps send my ECU down to Abbey and have them put on a safe map long enough for me to make it down to them for a decent tune. Here is an interesting bit from my350z, dunno how accurate but its interesting@ 320-335 whp, stock vortech tune with stock pulley and stock everything else on car (stock exhaust, cats, etc) 340-350 whp tuned 350-370 whp add exhaust, HF cats, plenum, and tuning 370-390 whp add 3.12 pulley and tuning 380-400 whp add headers and/or test pipes, and tuning 390-420 whp add 2.87 pulley and tuning 420-440 whp add cams and tuning 440-475 whp add water/meth injection, more timing, at least half race gas (96 octane or higher) and tuned 470-510 whp switch to Si or T-trim blower, and tuning 500+ whp (in theory) built engine with stroker kit, ported heads, compression ratio somewhat high around 9.5-10:1 raise the redline slightly, full race gas, and tuningtorque numbers are generally 70-90 less than the peak whp numbers R
