    spoilers?

As somebody with little clue... do spoilers have (in general) a negative or positive effect on rear end grip and handling? Looking in to one myself so watching this thread closely
  2. Looks an awesome day out that... think i'd better get myself along this year. Nice front bumper spoiler on that car above. Like the curve to it. Is it easy to get hold of one of those?
  3. Hi Grant, do you have a side on pic of the car so I can see both the fronts and rears in a side profile please? Thanks... Nathan...
  4. Thanks guys... what I needed to hear. I will keep looking in which case and also keep checking my PM's for a reply from Adam. Cheers...
  5. All seems very civil... Cream Cakes I will get on with my homework and find the best place to buy them in preperation. My car's pretty much stock so I need to make a good first impression somehow
  6. Thanks for the link... they look like 18"'s... not sure if I am correct in saying? Ideally I am after some 19" for a silver 350z (so normal alloy color or gunmetal / black). I guess could always paint the above if 19"... Just emailed that seller on eBay to say not interested. However he can back with this. "Yes the sizes are odd, I would recommend using these 19 x 9.5 alloys with 245/35 tyres on your car"... Presumably the problems with the lack of a stagger would still be apparent though?
  7. Much clearer... thanks buddy... I think yours look about right, so if the ones advertised stick out another 10mm, it would look odd. Also, without the stagger, I could be running the risk of the traction control kicking in all of the time (much like my current ones). I presume you can fit bigger back tyres to get the stagger but I think I would rather do it properly if poss. Will email the seller now to say not of interest... I will keep looking though...
  8. I'd love to say that meant something to me lol Thanks for replying though buddy. Presumably the offset is something to do with the width of the alloy (at a guess)?
  9. Sorry to be such a pleb guys but I really know nothing about alloys or tyre fitment etc etc, but will these alloys fit my car properly (i.e are they the right stagger / size)? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0285581068

    370z

Must admit the 370z is really growing on me... The question is, can I resist the urge? :-) lol
  11. rx8's generally use a fair bit of oil in lubricating the rotor tips. Mazda advise you check levels on every second fuel stop. However this car uses very little. I can second that. Had an RX8 a little while back. I used to top it up ince every month. But you are talking a tiny tiny top up each time. Not very expensive at all and I used to get about 20 miles less to a tank than the 350z, so fuel economy is about what you'd expect really. Totally different car to the Z but almost as good in so many different ways. That Wankel engine in the RX8 is superb...! 9'000-9500 until you have to change gear. Its hilarious lol
  12. Could be interested in the number plate holder buddy... How much you looking for?
  13. I know... thats what I am worried about...
  14. Thanks Martin... just PM'd him now. Fingers crossed for a good price...
  15. Thanks for that buddy... Also apologies Zedrush, but I think I definitely need a set of those alloys asap...! lol Anyone know the cheapest place to get a set? Should I PM Adam do you think?
  16. I agree... they look awesome. Are they 19" or 20" and do you have any more pics?
  17. I don't think I could resist a new one at that price to be honest...! Money or no money I'd find it from somewhere lol
  18. I will whip one up for you matey... As your such a nice guy I will do it free of charge as well Here is a very very early build of a website I am doing for a friend at the moment: http://www.dapperfashion.com/watchstraps.html Its not my profession, so it won't be anything spectacular I am afraid. More of a hobby that I am trying to figure out in my spare time. I can just about get by and am sure I could do something for you. Have been gleening so much info off of you guys. Feel like trying to give something back. Only cost would be a domain name and / hosting package from somewhere. Only about £20/£30 I reckon and I will take care of the rest for you...
  19. How does one take the weight out of the boot as mine keeps dropping too Actually doesn't open very well either
