  1. Yeah, thats what I thought but thanks for just confirming my fears. If they were a bargain price, I would have taken the risk but at £600+ I think I would rather pay the extra £200/£300 and get a new set of alloys plus tyres from eBay. Again thanks OP for coming back and best of luck with the sale.
  2. I will have to gracefully bow out, but best of luck with the sale... All the best Nathan
  3. Yeah, I get pretty harsh wobble at over 85mph like you say... Gear stick goes all wobbly too. This is the reason for my offer of £400 as I really don't know if I am going to experience the same again. Kind regards Nathan
  4. Fair enough... that would be a bit too rich for me I am afraid and hope I haven't offended the original poster with my offer. I am sporting a set of the same alloys (only 18") and they have been causing me traction control issues and wobbling at high speeds, so I am not 100% certain I want another set. But if the OP wants to sell them for £400 and gets no further offers, then I would be willing to forgo my reservations about the alloys and give them a go. Any more and its too big an outlay for something I am uncertain of... (if that makes sense) ;-) lol Many thanks Nathan
  5. Considering they can be bought for new (with new tyres), I'd be willing to offer £400...
  6. Yeah, could have got it done more quickly but there is about a week or so wait for a loan car (which I would need no matter how crummy) :-) lol
  7. Thats good to know. Thanks for that buddy... I will remind them about the brake fluid when I am there ;-) lol
  8. How did you get on in the end buddy? I have just booked my car in there for Wednesday 13th and was hopeful your experience was one filled with glee and joy ;-) lol
  9. Thats not bad at all... i.e could be worse I guess :-) lol Be great to hear how you get on and perhaps mention you might be sending somebody else and they might give you a few pennies off. Anything is worth a try ;-)
  10. Price lowered for fellow forum member to £3200 before it goes on Autotrader later on today. Willing to take the hit as I can't stand the blummin canvassers... :-(
  11. Priced for a very quick sale at £3695.00 Previous two lady owners and only 39k miles on the clock. Everything about this car has been lovingly cared for and no expense spared. Only group 10 insurance and returns around 35 mpg (more on longer journeys). Car comes with full service history, MOT & Tax. Electric Mirrors, Sunroof and Door Mirrors. Also has Full Leather Interior, ABS, Air Conditioning, Alarm, Alloy Wheels, Body Coloured Bumpers, Drivers Airbag, Folding Rear Seats, Front Fog Lights, Heated Door Mirrors, Height Adjustable Drivers Seat, Immobiliser, Passenger Airbag, Power Steering, Pioneer Radio/CD (which is extremely impressive. Side Airbags, Steering Wheel Rake Adjustment, Steering Wheel Reach Adjustment, Trip Computer, Tailgate Spoiler etc etc. This is the FX model not the SE (so is better specified). Also something people forget to mention about this car is that the boot is huge and can easily fit your everyday items and is great for using to travel away in. Recent redundancy forces sale and if you have any questions or just want to come and view, please feel free to get in touch  There are a couple of pics below (as you will no doubt be able to see) or you can view the full list of about 25 pics in much more detail over at my mobileme gallery (which hopefully will show just how immaculate the car is) MobileMe Gallery Many thanks Nathan
  12. S1 HNK, loving your motor mate. My type of mods (i.e understated but effective). Is that number plate legal though as was thinking of doing mine in a similar way but unsure of the law these days??? I guess the lettering is the correct size so should be fine?
  13. Remap Mod... is this for the standard ECU? First I have heard but sounds very exiting lol
  14. Man I want a GT-R soooooo bad..... lol
  15. Ok Ian, thanks for that. Ideally I would like something a little closer as it makes like easier leaving the car with the garage, however Newport isn't out of the question so if there are no further suggestions I shall take you up on the kind offer. Thanks for the suggestion matey...
  16. Thanks for your opinions guys... I think I am pretty much there with changing the nissan burgers to Z badges. How easy is this to do and as I have a silver car (the brighter silver whatever thats called), should I be going for silver badges or some darker ones that I have seen? I still like the idea of trying a nismo sticker on the front right of the bonnet lip (as I have seen in a few pics). I guess I could always try it like you say and then pull it off if it looks crap...
  17. Been thinking for a while about taking the badges off of my 350z and replacing the circular nissan ones with the Z ones that do the rounds here. Also thinking of getting a set of Nismo boot and bonnet stickers but not sure a) how they will look and what the general consensus is here about them. Whether they are viewed as making the car look cheap, tacky etc etc. Any advice welcome on this one
  18. Got a 53 plate 350z and to be honest the service history is pants and I am currently trying to fill in the couple of blanks in the service log by contacting the previous owners. Needless to say, I shall be taking much better care of the car and am ideally looking for a garage around the Bristol (or surrounding) area to take my car to on a regular basis. Price wise it would be amazing if cheap, however I'm ideally looking for good workmanship and somebody that won't rip me off. Hopefully this garage can take stock of where the car is and where I need to go with it to get back up to decent servicing intervals (as only had the car 6 months). I'm fairly certain I need a P3 service or might indeed be "overdue" one. But any suggestions would be great guys. If any of you have a mate that runs a garage or works for a Nissan stealer even better as there are a couple of rattles and creeks I could do with looking at without somebody trying to con me out of a fortune. As I have just been made redundant recently, I need to save every penny I can trying to get my own business of the ground lol There's a few beers etc in it at the next closest meet for anyone that can put me in touch. Thanks for listening to my waffle above and I shall keep my fingers crossed All the best, Nathan
  19. Well just to keep you posted guys, I think the more I mull this over (i.e 20's) and the more people I speak to regards to that tyre size on a Z. The more I think that I perhaps should go for a nice set of 19's instead. Normally I would jump in to a decision like this without a care in the world. However you guys are the experts and many people he who's opinion I respect have all said go 19's, so I think thats what I am gonna do. Sorry to drag this thread out like a mini soap opera but I guess with all that said and done I am still on the lookout for a nice set of rims that perhaps look similar to the above. Thanks to all of those advising me though. Really appreciate your help At the minute I still have about 2 months (or more) worth of tread on the tyre's and alloys I have. So in no massive hurry, but will deffo jump at the right set as and when they come along. With the laquer peeling and current alloys looking shabby as hell, I think I will just bin them when the time comes to replace, but need my car to look spotless for all the meets coming up so keep any reccomendations coming All the best, Nathan
  20. Sorry for the delayed update guys but been a tad poorley this past few days (aaaaahhhhhggggg) ;-) lol As of yet, not gotten round to taking the plunge but am fully expecting to this next day or two. Will keep you posted
  21. No amount of egging me on is going to.................................................. Oh alright then... Think I am gonna go for them guys. Just waiting to hear from the seller to see if I can knock a penny or two off and let you know how it goes
  22. Just found these and am looking at putting in an offer unless somebody here can tempt me otherwise lol http://tinyurl.com/9xbb2y Ideally I am trying to get my car looking as close to the one pictured as possible (all barring the rear spoiler) and mine is Silver not white. Basically though, this is the sort of alloy I am after...
  23. Ok guys thats great. Just emailed the seller to see if there is any movement in price. Will continue this here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... 324#287324 Thanks as always for the advice
  24. Do you reckon then that at £1300 with tyres they are expensive then? Sorry buddy, I am literally clueless with alloys :-(
  25. Thanks again Stew... the urge to buy is strong with these
