  1. Do you have a sale price in mind? i,e what do you expect to get for the car (non inclusive of any p/x)?
  2. Funny you should say that. Seen a set on another forum the other day and they looked unbelievable...! They are extremely pricey though arn't they
  3. Thanks for posting Hynder... looks great your setup... Deffo gonna start to look at replacing the speakers some time in the not to distant future. Only thing I hate about the Stereo is the fact that the LED color can't be changed to the amber of the 350z's. I am a major fine detail freek (sometimes verging on OCD) so you can imagine the turmoil this is causing me lol Where did you get your stereo surround just out of interest? I have been looking everywhere since my last post in this thread and have been unable to find anything. Its such a difficult thing to Google as the only term I can think to call it is "Stereo Surround" lol
  4. Alloys sold to TT Convert, so thread closed for now... Many thanks, Nathan...
  5. Sorry to hear Phil is still not well... Fingers crossed that the next few days and in to 2009 bring much better fortune for him and the family.
  6. The other obvious thought is that some of the things that need doing, after a few months of ownership you might have wanted to do on a pristine example anyway... I am a couple of months in to ownership and already thinking about Exhausts, Alloys, New Tyres etc etc lol Like the others say... Great price still...
  7. Cheers buddy... I was 99.9% but just needed that extra clarification lol
  8. Anyone think these are any good...? They seem a bit too cheap for my liking but are they just on offer or something? http://swtyres.co.uk/specials/252
  9. No tyres buddy... I will get those from my local garage. As I say, £1000 is purely a "it would be nice to get them for price". Am open to anything though as if they are desirable and to my taste. I will find the extra Thanks for replying as well Adam. Look forward to seeing what you can recommend...
  10. 19"'s if possible... Budget wise £1000 would be nice, but I honestly have no idea what the going rate is for good alloy's, so would obviously spend more on the right ones...
  11. Thanks for the heads up Stew... Seems like a nice guy already so could be something doing (fingers crossed)... In the meantime. I know these are on a new tuned Bugatti Veyron, but love the alloys...
  12. Are they 18" or 19". My limited knowledge would suggest 18" as I haven't seen 19's on the forum of these. At least I think I haven't lol
  13. In which case, not as bad as I thought... Will check PM now buddy... thanks for clarifying
  14. PM'd... Any other suggestions would be great as I must be honest in that the Shipping from the States could be horrendous (which would be a shame as I really do like the ones above). Could be swayed otherwise though I guess
  15. Liking those Very Very much... where from and how much buddy? I presume those are 19" too? Lovely looking motor...!
  16. Yeah, they suit the car amazingly well don't they... I saw yours on a post the other day and thought they looked ace. Its just I have an image of what I want the car to look like and I think 19"' Alloys would be work akin to what I want. To be fair though, it all hinges on me finding something better really...
  17. Definitely liking the look of those thanks Lexx. The black ones on one of their other pages look nice as well. Having read up a bit on these forums (the threads that I could find). I understand that some alloys are lighter than others. Would any of you guys say so much so that it would make a performance difference?
  18. Oh, right. I didnt follow the links... Anyway, Rota's rule! I'm open to any suggestions guy's... What Rota's would you recommend MarzMan?
  19. Oooh Errrr... Just seen the rest of your post Ian... £3k could be a bit rich for me Presumably there are no replica's or anything?
  20. I've always been told I have expensive taste lol Sorry if I have gone over old ground in the thread. I normally use the search first, but its a nightmare when your not certain what to search for exactly lol Any idea where you can get them from and a rough price? Think I would be looking at 19", unless 20" would be better? Just from what I see, 19" Alloys seem to look a more comfortable fit on the Z... Thanks
  21. EDIT: I started the thread saying that I had my heart set on the Alloys below. However at £3k I think I'd be a fool to buy them. As nice as they are, I don't think I could ever spend that on a set of Alloys lol... Anyway, I have turned the thread in to a general help one as I am looking for a really nice 19" set to go on my Silver 350z. Any suggestions and pics would be amazing... I am a pretty new 350z owner, so don't have much idea on what would look great (as I am sure a lot of you have done some trial and error in your time)... Anyways, Original post below... Thanks "Think I have my heart set on a pair". Anyone know what they are and where I can get a set? Appreciate any info... http://z.about.com/d/cars/1/0/T/k/ny_07_nismo350z.jpg
  22. Looking to get a new set of alloys as a treat to myself in the new year. Not yet taken the alloys off of the car as I am waiting to see what I get for these first but can move quickly if somebody wants to buy asap. I will also pay to get them refurbed to as new condition as there is some slight kerbing from the previous owner but nothing more than a few parking skuffs. I (however) like everything to be prim and proper before selling on... I have attached a picture of the actual alloys. The tires fitted are: Falken 235/40ZR18 95W (Front) Falken 265/35ZR18 97W (Back) Both have a fair amount of tread on, however there is a tiny issue with the rear tires in that the Rolling Radius of the rears (of the actual tyre) is slightly larger than it should be, which is fine if the traction control is off but when its on, it seems to flicker quite a lot as the margin for slide is less due to the larger radius (if that makes sense)... The alloys alone go for around £550 / £600, so I am pricing them at £350 (including refurb as new) and throwing the tires in for nothing basically. So £350 for an immaculate set of Wolf Race Shark Alloys (as pictured) with a set of nearly new Tyres. Any questions, please feel free to ask, all the best... Nathan
  23. You jammy sod... lol I sincerely hope you enjoy it though. Sounds like it should be an amazing holiday. Something I would love to do, so you will have to let us all in on how it turns out... Best of luck
  24. It does make sense thanks buddy and I really appreciate the effort in doing the calculations for me. It seems to make complete sense now as it always happens under acceleration and that must mean that as I am accelerating, the tires are slipping "slightly" but enough to cause the traction control to kick in due to the margin for it not too being so close to the bone. So what are people's thoughts in which case on what to do? Sell the nearly new current tires for a few pennies and get some new ones, or sell the alloys and tires and go the whole hog? Also any recommendations on what tires are best for the Z? Many thanks, Nathan
  25. I would love to go to Goodwood next year and traveling there in a 350-Z convoy would be amazing...
