  1. I've seen some sexy 20" wheels fitted to a stock 350Z, and fancy buying them. Are these offsets going to be okay?? If I get them there'll be lots of jealousy! Offsets: Rear: 10x20 ET30 5H114.3 CB:66.1 Front: 8.5x20 ET25 5H 114.3 CB:66.1 Cheers in advance.
  2. So have you any pics then? what price you after?
  3. I'd like to see one like that draped over my bonnet
  4. -Also the same place I got speeding points on my R6! Beware the Sully
  5. I remember owning an old XR4x4 that I bought for tracking. I was coming home one night at (I'm lying honestly officer) full chat which was only about 125 in the old girl, and as I approached the starry lights of town, what should I see overtake me on my inside (un-provoked I might add), well, it was only my front left hand Michelin! Needless to say if it wasn't a 4x4 it may have ended up like yours! I just limped on home steering lots to the right at a slightly lesser speed, and ruined lots and lots of tarmac as my spare alloy was at home
  6. Not sure on that. Can't seem to get past the 370 mini-site. Don't want one anyway. All that extra power but no real serious performance gains in my eyes, sexy car, but not worth the extra pennies.
  7. **** me! clive sully did this to you!
  8. I've been on the internet earlier today and discovered that I can't find a Nissan dealer in either the UK or AU that have a 350Z coupe (new) for sale, yet the roadster is available. Am I just being plain stupid, as the 370 is the obvious replacement, or is the 370 just another model Z? If the 350 is discontinued then that should mean it's now even more special and on it's way to becoming that future classic? Am I years behind the news or what
  9. What's wrong with just using those sexy yellow triangular stickers that us lot from the UK stick on our headlights when driving in Europe? Save you some petrol money!
  10. Induction - JWT Pop Charger, Sounds awesome. If you have standard wheels get some spacers.
  11. Yo, enjoy the RWD. And polishing your black paint three times a week too!
  12. Yeah you said this before I bouhgt them from you, not all too bothered about going lower, it's just I saw a Z in the flesh a week or so ago that was quite low, and it looked special. Could you go any lower at all, say 15mm?
  13. I have searched for this and have posted this before but had no joy. I have my rears on 25mm and my fronts on 20mm spacers and wouldn't swap my rears for 20 as it just wouldn't look as good. After thinking long and hard, I do indeed now want my car a little bit lower has anyone done this on standard alloys without rubbing or the need to alter anything other that just the springs? Any help would be appreciated.
  14. Ah. What grade paper for carbon?
  15. You must live in an upmarket 'rarther' posh area then unlike I do. They all talk the RP posh talk lingo by me but they're as common as I am really, just too snooty to admit it!
  16. i have a bandsaw which does a good job, but something like a dremmel with a cutting head and a steady hand would probably do. How would you get a sexy smooth edge though, and not a cut flat edge that looks unfinished? I would want to achieve a smooth glossy finish on the edges that mirrors the surface.
  17. Nice one, not looking bad at all for a first attempt or second attempt at that! See if you can show some pics of the edges when you've finished this one as that's where I'm concerned I may fkcu up. Really keen to get started on this as I could save so much of my vital beer money and make my car look extra sexy too.
  18. I'd leave my car safely in my driveway behind the gates on stands with wood between the stands and my car, also with a trolley jack at the back and a standard jack on both sills at either side at the front. Alternatively if anything happens in the garage they'll have liability for it. Surely a garage would use a proper ramp and not stands anyway??
  19. Primer. But why.
  20. I've seen a couple of tutorials and read some stuff on moulding various shapes etc using carbon cloth and resin, but has anyone else done this with success? And what's getting me, is how do you finish the edge off to look smooth and neat after removing your piece from the mold and cutting the rough edges down to size? Any one??
  21. Not bad, not bad, How come you have a double air intake on your bumper on an 05 model? Am I missing something obvious like an engine transplant?
  22. Check that all of the panels are the same colour Kick the tyres, indeed
  23. Why do so many people come on here, buy, think,or wonder about buying a tuned, 2-seater, 3.5 six litre, rear wheel six speed sports coupe......... and then start minging about fuel consumption?? What do they expect?? Buy a Skoda TDi, or a Diesel Micra - or just get on with it!
