  1. So what is the difference between me getting a : 1.Standard spacer? 2.Thermal spacer? 3.Copper spacer?
  2. Yeah sure, write them down and I'll pop round early monday morning, say around 0800?
  3. I'll wait and see. Just want to get cracking as I have next week free from work and wanted an excuse to use some light tools over a couple of easy days in the sunshine with some coldies
  4. UNmodified go with Direct Line. Modified - Adrian Flux every time. I've had 14 cars so far and spend at least a week every year getting quotes. Always end up using the above two companies. ( I have lots and lots of points ).
  5. Yeah I'm aware of the carbon plenum. Just concerned it splits or cracks, and my insurance company will have to be notified so I'd have to part with more pennies.
  6. lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllogged of my laptop and restarted it and she works Need to splash some cash at a Vaio I reckon. Dirty Advents! I just put a new hard drive in this baby as I paid £700 nicker for this a couple of years ago o resolve silly problems like my L key. Waste of time. Should have put it to an exhaust or spacer
  7. (Again- the key on my aptop between 'k' and ';' isn't working!! ) I have decided to buy a Penum Spacer for my January 2006 350Z. I've gathered that the preferred brand is Motordyne, so wanted to know which traders on here suppy these as a compete kit with inst. instructions. Cheers. PS sorry about a those nasty speing mistakes
  8. Checked your thread out, I'll be watching Good luck with this.
  9. This was when I was 17, so a while back. He was a traffic cop not much older than I was, and earning his stripes.
  10. Sound pretty good in comparison to paying a similar price to a spacer. What warranty would I get on a Carbon Plenum to cover cracking and or stress?
  11. I did this once front and back with an early car, and got a £30 fine from plod for my troubles, - fcker wouldn't let me disconnect them there and then, said they were in-appropriate, even gave me a producer. No wonder they get respected eh?! Looks cool though, volvo'esque.
  12. Not sure about the 'pure'?? I've seen a couple of Motordyne ones on ebay.com http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOTORDYN ... ccessories But not too sure on the differences between a copper one or a standard one? Are there any traders on here who sell these cheaper than ebay?
  13. A set of four used hubcentric wheel spacers for sale. On the car for approx 700 miles. Great for anyone who cannot decide between using 20mm all around or 20mm front and 25mm rear, or who wants 25mm rear until they lower their car. - Four 20mm spacers with two additional 5mm spacers that fit between the wheel and the spacers. ( All came professionally fitted by Roadhouse with the wheels). I am unsure which brand these are as they ( although identical to my Eibach's) came supplied by the garage with some used wheels I just bought, although I previously bought some spacers myself from CS, so these are surplus to requirement. You would need to obtain the fixing bolts/nuts from Halfords (20 in total) as these did not come supplied, but this shouldn't cost too much. £110 Delivered and I'll take some pics later on today. Or would swap these for something that may be of interest to me for my 350Z. PM me if you are interested. Cheers.
  14. I am based in East/North Yorkshire, and my car is the Jan 2006 so no bonnet bulge, but all insurance companies say it's the 296 when I give them my Reg?? Any obvious indicators without a Dyno? thanks.
  15. Oh how ironic your username, as you'll now be needing more power to move those heavy lumps around It's not the car silly boy....it's the driver
  16. My car is a January 2006 model. Never thought any sealant would be necessary if gaskets are used, but have read people having some air leakage considering this option. What price range are the spacers please? Cheers.
  17. Clearly you haven't, else you'd know the answers to your questions. 1. Motodyne 2. Silicone where? 3. No 4. No Calm down.
  18. Metallic Brembo Gold would look cool, make a change from red or blue. Possible?
  19. Been thinking about doing this for a while now. Watched the 'how to' on boob tube, and read previous posts. I've seen different opinions on brands, and don't have the spare cash to import from the US. Which spacer is the best one for the job then? Is silicone really necessary? Will I need to pack my front strut brace on washers to get the engine cover back on? Will I lose torque but increase bhp? ( I like torque ) Cheers.
  20. Not needed now thanks guys, just bought some 700 miles old alloys with tyres, so shall be replacing my stock wheels with these. 20x9 and 20x10
  21. I would like prices on tyres for my stock alloys 245/45/18 and 225/45/18 (Standard alloy wheel sizes I think). Sure there was someone on here selling tyres with a club discount?? Thanks in advance for your time.
