  1. Keep racing him, he'll brake down soon enough Chrysler power
  2. Glad to see you all agree that this guy must be a virgin and is obviously that embarrassed by his proper @*!# home made diet coke bottle body kit and hand painting , that he's trying to sell it on to some rude boy who leans back in his seat whilst driving with one hand smack bang in the middle of his steering wheel with a cap falling off the back of his head and some @*!# music ruining my peace and quiet whilst thinking his exhaust looks the tits.Incorrect. Bet he can't sell this on for more than five hundred nicker :teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth::teeth:
  3. Is gear change 'crunching' common !!!!!!!!!!???? I agree- Synchromesh.
  4. I meant 21k English pounds not Au dollars! Still have very little interest so it looks like I'll be broke when we get there, but driving with a smile in all that sunshine.
  5. I think - yes you'll be disappointed with me for this - that although the Z is an excellent daily drive, great for handling with loads of feedback, and gorgeous to look at due to those sexy lines, it's just not quick enough. ....It should be performance wise more aggressive. Louder at tick over, much much louder when accelerating, I mean really growl !! And be just that little bit quicker, really shove the driver back in their seat when gearing up. I reckon some nasty torque steer would make it feel more like a big heavy muscle car(although torque steer is not that productive). Don't know. Love it allover, but some better performance would really please me.
  6. Kids are disgusting, don't want none But the Mrs does so need to make some room. Gonna enjoy trying to make some twice a night though Thought if i could get some professional baby seats fitted there'd be no worries taking the car to Oz with us. The expense would therefore be justified. And I definately wouldn't use a purple hairy rug in the back of my car either, for sure.
  7. WTF I just saw this and thought WTF and scrolled down to see you also thought WTF and i Ficin wet my pants.
  8. Sorry-can see it's shape!!!! Having 9 points now I could benefit from this, but only if it detects mobile speed traps too, and can be updated regularly?
  9. Which shape is this? Does it pick up the mobile van units and hand held lasers?
  10. Some may not like this, but after browsing on pistonheads last night I saw a 260Z and he states that he's had a rear seat set-up added?? Loads of people sell up when there's a bun in the oven, but what if you didn't have to? Stab in the dark really but anyone aware if this type of conversion is available for the mk1 350? Surely there must be scope to add some teeny tiny person seats in place of the speaker/glove box shelf?
  11. Yeah I've seen it's still worth in excess of 21k there. To ship in a container were I close the doors and lock up myself is £1100 as oppossed to a roro (large ferry car park) at £700. I do have to pay gst (Oz tax) when I get there though, which is calculated on the value of my car, plus a thorough jet wash etc at the terminal plus quarantine prices, (they won't accept soil or dead bugs on the tyres or windscreen etc). I got an official quote recently and it worked out at £2400. The Holdens over there are cool, generally most family saloons and pick-ups are V8's and harness well over 300bhp as a rule, 90% RWD so not a bad thing - just no too keen on owning another vauxhall!
  12. Where would I place my can of lager whilst using these alien contraptions?
  13. Pics would be cool. Always and I mean always wanted to drive through Europe, across and up to China, then on and up Russia and then on a ferry to the USA, then through Canada, down to the bottom and up to the top of US. then fly home and ship my beast on a ferry. ONLY car I would ever use would be a Land cruiser. Tried talking our lass into this many many times but she's not so keen. How cool would that be!
  14. Yeah I should have it priced around the 15k mark I think to sell, but I can't do it. Never been this attached to a car before, not anal about it at all, just quite chuffed I've got this one. I've had 14 cars in 9 years and lost so much money it's painful to think what I'd own now, adding up just the loss. I refused to lose too much on this one if I ever sold it, that's why I'm being stubborn with my price due to low mileage. In the end I may drive through Europe across to China and ship it from there. Or ship from here to Queensland, the sunshine coast. Just could really do with the money from the sale in my bank account as I'm currently over 4k overdrawn due to a light workload and work injury. Sucks. Cross my fingers someone wants to look after my car and replenish my account! Cheers.
  15. Nah. - Looks like an old mans lexus with a nasty early 90's interior. And just 'no' to an auto. Only Auto I'd have would be a Landcruiser, but would still prefer a manual. I tried triptronic- just awful for gearing down and cornering, had a 205bhp Petrol Shogun auto and that was okay, but still a litlle uninvolved. GT should mean Manual I reckon.
  16. Yeah I should have held on to my cash at the time looking back. Always have bought things on impulse. Bought it as a keeper so the current climate wasn't too much of a concern at the time (feel like a silly bollo-cks now)! I've been to OZ three times now, and sold up completely for the second time I went, but something bad happened at home so we came back early. Got my residency visa through very recently (took over a year so wasn't sure if I'd get in at all) that gives me 5 years as an immigrant in OZ, if I spend two consecutive years there I get citizenship, so no chance of me ever coming back to this at all. If you've never been I can't recommend it enough. Tropical, laid back, beautiful scenery and weather all year round. Massive, and very clean. Makes the UK feel so small and overcrowded. Looks like I have two options with my car, either give it away for someone else to benefit from my hard earned cash I spent on it, or cough up some more and take it with me, and be proper broke when I get there! Dilemma
  17. Almost 7k has cost me 6 grand then so not as bad!
  18. I know it's ambitious, but losing 6 grand in less than a year and less than 6 thousand extra miles just ruins me! The price reflect the mileage I think, and also that I really don't want to sell at all. (Encourages the export!!!) Since I placed the ad I keep moving the curtains to take a peek at my lovely sexy Grey machine. Sad times.
  19. Absolutely gutted but I have my Australian visa through and aint' staying here for another summer-let-down! I have had quotes for exporting, but port to port it's almost three grand, and I could really do with the money in my bank for the costs of setting up home again. A couple of very light marks on the bumper (weathered paint on the very edges), some light marks on the rear strut brace from my suitcases, and a little bit of rubbing on the gear knob. Really been a hard decision for me. Price is £16000. Think link for my Pistonheads ad. is below. http://pistonheads.com/sales/1059718.htm
  20. Could you PM your lowest possible price you'd take for these please along with your location so I can work the distance out from mine? I'm in need of four tyres at the moment and may just be tempted with some new wheels also? Cheers.
  21. If it was Saturday it may have been me as my car is Grey but not with gt4 alloys on it?? In Beverley for most of the day.
  22. " Installation of the Receiver Pipes requires attaching a set of brackets to the sturdy aluminum rear bumper cross member which is hidden inside the plastic bumper cover. Attachment is by five self-tapping bolts into small (1/4", 6mm) holes easily drilled from below into the aluminum bumper cross member and another small hole in the spare tire well. " Just couldn't do it! I tried a handirack from lidl, great thing, but no good for bikes on a 350. I've been searching for a universal roof bar available in the uk that I can bolt my cycle carriers onto, but with no luck. If it wasn't for the drilling, I'd do the same. When I think about drilling holes in my car, I'd thinkabout the kid off 'HOSTEL' when he gets his thighs drilled before his ankles get sliced. Well done for your bravery. Fortunately I have a van.
