  1. I personally use the dodo range, purple haze for wax, and can highly recommend it, gives a very nice deep shine and brings out the paint flakes well, if you go in the detailing section and look up machined polished with dodo wax there are some pictures in there, I'd put some on here for you but the iPhone won't copy and paste
  2. heres where mine idles, this was after fitting a kintetix plenum, a/c off
  3. the kinetix is a plastic plenum so it wouldn't polish, maybe could get it sprayed, it doesn't seem to get to hot I agree the polished one looks better but it didn't have a spacer for it and the kinetix cost me alot less than a spacer would which is why I changed
  4. I may have a polished plenum for sale in a few weeks, just seeing how my kinetix plenum is first
  5. very nice indeed, your giving me bad ideas for mine now, is your car lowered as well then because it's sitting very well
  6. Bought and installed the plenum last night, i havnt had chance to take it out yet or reset the ecu but im hoping it will make a bit of difference, had the same problems as nurrish with air leaks but tightening a few bolts here and there has cleared it up and i now have a steady idle im waiting a little while and then may have a polished plenum for sale anyway to the important part.... pictures before: after:
  7. All the bits seemed to be there, well that's all I used so I hope there was nothing else I'll take some pictures today, looks a little dull in there now I've took my poilshed plenum off so hoping a little performance will make it worth while
  8. just a quick thanks to neil for the warm welcome and beer tonight, finally got the plenum fitted with no leaks and a stable idle, thanks again Scott
  9. how did you get on with it today then? Notice much difference? I've just bought one today and fitted it tonight, your right it is a pain in the arse to stop air leaks but it's now got a smooth idle once more, not had a chance to reset the ecu or drive it yet though
