  1. Is that the hide N seat stuff or something else? Ive been wanting to change my interior colour for a while. If I can just order replacement leather that come ready to zip straight on that would be ideal!
  2. I just took both my Nissan badges off a couple of days ago to fit the new black Z badges. Was planning to whack them on ebay to see if they fetched anything. Drop me a PM if you are interested mate. GaryT if you want to remove the badge just get some dental floss (fishing wire would be even better) and a hair dryer. Use the hair dryer to heat the badge and warm the glue then slide the wire in behind the badge and use a sort of sawing action to cut through the glue. It will leave some glue on the bumper that needs to be removed but other then that its an easy job.
  3. is that it? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2ecb720763 Ha ha looks like my ebay skills need some work. I tried searching convoluted tubing, split tubing etc etc. Thats exactly what I was after mate, nice one!
  4. This is the sort of stuff Im referring to, just cant seem to find anyone selling it in the UK.
  5. Any chance of the nuts/bolts package being available in Red too? Also on my 350 I remember I covered most of the wiring in the engine bay with a chrome coloured convoluted tubing. It had a split that ran the length of it so you could just open it up and wrap it around the cables. Id love to be able to get that stuff again, either chrome or Red again.
  6. Looks great on the car. Any chance of one for a 370z?

    Wheel dilemma

Im not sure what would be best suited to your personal taste but in my opinion those 20's on the red zed are something I would chop off an arm for. I've never seen those wheels before and that concave look is just awesome. Im guessing its on air suspension and slammed for the photo so again I dont really know what they would look like if your zed wasnt that low. Either way those are the wheels I would go for.
  8. I think the car looks awesome mate. Its not to everyone's taste but then that's the point of modifying it in the first place, to make it original and personal to you right? This is exactly what you wanted it to be.......a show car!! One question about the wrap - did you put it on over the primer or were the bumpers painted first? I have a black 370z and was going to buy a full kit which happened to be white and then wrap over the top - but I thought that would screw me up if I ever remove the wrap and had two different colours underneath. Just wondering if you had the same thought?
  9. Im open to offers. There is more money in parts alone on this car then the asking price but I do need a quick sale so let me know if you have a sensible offer.
  10. The last thing I want to do is sell my pride and joy but I have a mortgage going through and needs must. I’m looking for a quick sale so I’m open to sensible offers. This car has had thousands of pounds spent on it, really too much to list. The parts alone would fetch a lot if I had the time to part it out. Most of you know the car and just how much has been spent on it. You can see it on the cover and in a feature in September 2009 Redline Magazine. I can get a full spec up or send more details/photos to anyone who is interested but I just wanted to get a quick advert up for now or else I'd never post it! So here goes, please pm me if you would like to come and see the car or if you need more details, or you can call/text me on 07940 531 262 2003 Nissan 350Z 3.5 V6 Import. I am first owner in UK. 11. Hi guys My fog light is not working and so the car failed the MOT - to be honest I dont think its ever worked and its passed the last 3 but I guess its a problem now? My rear end has been made symetrical so there is no red strip over the fog light so I either need a red bulb or a silver one that shines red (which is what I have on there at the moment I think??) Can anyone recommend a good seller who supplies these? Thanks very much.
  12. Thanks Chris. I looked at them yesterday and actually the look spot on not stretched at all. If anything the overhang the wheel a bit but this may just be the rim protector. I'll get a photo up just to be safe. I will try and get a wheel off this weekend to confirm. Part of me wants some cheap rubber to pass the MOT but then part of me wants to get tyres that are still in production so that I can easily match up the rears later. Given my situation (never drive the car) what would you suggest?
  13. Wow there really is a lot of tension when it comes to tyres. I for one dont know enough to say who is right or wrong with regard to tyres - I just want to pass my MOT lol. The front tyres are both still legal tread depth but one has a lump so it failed on that. Since my tyres are no longer being manufactured the only choice I have is to replace all 4 and stay matching (which I would do if I could afford it) or to replace the front 2 now and the rear 2 at a later date when I have some more cash. The Zed is my second car and it gets driven maybe once a month. I declared it off road about 6 weeks ago because I couldnt afford the tax. Then last week I got a call about doing a magazine shoot so Im literally just trying to get it through an MOT, tax it and take it for some photos. After that it will be back on the drive for another few months or until I can sell it. So with that in mind - any chance anyone can help me out with a matching pair of 245/40/18 at a good price? Or at least recommend another tyre size that would still fit on my wheels? Cheers guys.
  14. Cheers for all the help guys. Basically I need new fronts to pass the MOT but am a little broke at the moment so was going to get some part worns so I can keep driving it then replace all 4 when im a little more flush. Was looking at replacing all 4 right now but struggling to find any decent rears in the sizes I have - hence why I thought I could look at other sizes. I have found a couple of MPS2 for the front but one is 93Y load and the other is 97Y load. Is this legal for the MOT or does the load rating have to be the same too? Thanks again guys.
  15. Thanks Neil. If for some reason it doesnt is there a way I can measure it with the wheel off or would that involve removing the tyre?
  16. Hi guys I have the Volk Racing TE37 on my zed at the moment in 18". Unfortunately I do not know how wide they are. I have Bridgestone Potenza GIII tyres all round. Now the front tyres are done so I need to replace them but Im struggling to find decent part worn's to match the sizes I have. I was wondering what other size tyres would fit my wheels but without knowing how wide the wheels are Im a little stuck. The tyres sizes on there at the moment are 275/40/18 at the rear and 245/40/18 at the front. Is there any way I can measure or work out how wide my wheels are? Once I know this information can I apply more then one size tyre to my rims or do I have to stick to the tyre sizes quoted above? Cheers all.
  17. Thanks again Chris. Ive edited the title of this thread for the actual sizes I am after. If anyone has 2 matching tyres in this size with legal tread (preferably 4mm+) and no repairs please get in touch. Many thanks.
  18. Thanks Chris Hmm thats strange then. I guess it must be because I have the TE37's and not the standard rays?
  19. thanks for the offer guys. I have agreed to one offer so if that falls through I will give you a shout. Cheers. on a side note what is the general front and rear tyre sizes for 18's? As I have 275 at the back and 245 at the front but someone mentioned that its usually 245 at the rear and 225 at the front???? Thanks again.
  20. Thanks for the offer mate but I'd like to keep the front tyres the same so ideally looking for 2 matching tyres. Cheers dude!
  21. Hi guys I have the old Bridgestone Potenza's on my zed which are now dead at the front. Looking to replace both. New or second hand I dont mind as long as the price is reasonable. Need something soon to get me through my next MOT. Edit: My wheels are Volk TE37's so I need 245/40/18 and NOT the standard size of 225. Let me know what you have. Cheers!
  22. Thanks guys. Unfortunately there was a large rip in the sidewall so no chance of repair. The only tyre available locally today was the goodyear in the end so we had to stump up the cash. At least its done now!
  23. Hi guys The front passenger side tyre on Hayley's 206 CC punctured yesterday and I need to get it sorted today. We literally just replaced the front drivers side about 3 weeks ago She has Goodyear Eagle F1's on there at the moment and they are about £120 at a garage (I know websites are cheaper but I need it sorted today). I was just wondering if I can replace this one tyre with a cheaper brand? I know its not recommended but the car is hardly a sports vehicle and we only use it for casual driving. I can get a Hankook tyre for half the price of the Eagle F1. Any advice on whether or not this is ok or am I really going to ruin the car? Just to add we are both absolutely skint so if its doable then please let me know. Thanks very much.
  24. Are the guages from a UK car? And also do you know if whacking these in my JDM will be ok? Would be nice to have UK gauges for sure. Thanks mate.
