I always use Tesco 99, you can really feel the diference between that and BP's crappy ultimate. Revs harder and faster. Shell V-Power is the only other fuel will use. As far as economy is concerned I cant get more than 21 mpg out of mine, and I have never put regular unleaded in, so I have no idea what the gain is.

I average just under 30mpg so that's 500 miles per tank, although I rarely run it as low as I did that time. On the 95 it was about 2mpg less. If you calculate that the 97 fuel costs about 4p more per litre it makes the price per mile nearly a penny less. Um, ish. Not scientificly accurate but near enough that i don't bother with the cheap stuff :0 How the hell do you average just under 30mpg??? I struggle to get more than 22...!!

I would buy a big big yacht and cruise around in paradise deciding what to spend the other 60 mil on...

I have done all of the above and i still have six, yes six door dents all on the nearside, I actually saw someone doing it in Tesco's to my car and it very nearly ended up in a fight!!.. the bloke was a complete arse! I have only had the car 6 months!!

Sheeeeeet mate bad luck, hope you and the car GWS. The TC on mine is a liability, so inconsistant it has nearly put me into a hedge once or twice by kicking in way after the slide and then making the car unpredictable. I keep mine switched off most of the time.

I have given up with this game, as much as I like it I have tried to log on several times since the start and it has crashed often. Very fustrating. I need to spend more time doing other stuff anyway as it was taking up far too much of my time, I have pointed at the island and there they will stay.
