  1. That could be an Aps fitted z on that link.450 on standard internal could be bad ;-) worth a look and test drive
  2. videos # get one of those cheapo 10€ jobbies stick it with, it's nice and 'hidden' so will probably not be noticeable even stick it under the reg plate rear. or get a spy cam, got a setup thats for sale at the moment that you could hide behind the regplate if you so wanted. I'm going to get a pro hd camera once I've invoiced for last months work that is that type suction one though so maybe no good for you.
  3. gtr is already 'cracked' as using a piggybac solution though, I'd be wary about the addtional running costs on a gtr compared ot a z.
  4. I'm doing a forged tt build at the moment and looking to come in under 15k, unless you're looking a big big power you won't need the full return system but uprated injectors and possibly a custom return system. If I started over my Z build I'd do what you intend in doing, plant a wad of cash someones way and get it all done in one go. And do it with one supplier of the whole lot. There is a 1k hp build on here by advance me that looks tasty Get onto the tuners that are active on here and see what they say. Keep it cheap and stay with standard internals and look at sub 400 for a safe tune or get a built engine, I looked at importing one from the US, seemed far cheaper then ripping out your old engine and swapping internals around. Also meant that you can use your car until the donor engine is ready to go in. PM me if you want the full load of what I'm doing at the moment.
  5. thats only two pics... would call that a mini pic whore time
  6. Looking forward to pics of all of the trip, especially Stelvio! had to google image that place, looks sweet... deffo bike road..
  7. Left yourself open there. to stop any confusion:
  8. stoptechs are supossed to be very good, think mark @ abbey supply them. I'd like to see some willy's though.
  9. http://www.garaget.org/lillnicke I like above layout, no clue who that is in the example btw. It's a bit more of a blog page for the user though and not a 'garage' per say. I like that you can vote and post a few comments etc.
  10. +1 on service parts go you tarmac
  11. go trackday, should have plenty left on those 888's too to vanish most of the other z's on the track. watch the heat of the oil who got them swapped? (lights that is...) vids vids vids
  12. you got the other lights for sale? pm me how is she to drive now when you got her proper on the road
  13. found a cheapo z on fleebay there, for the ss camaro... well it was about 15 years ago since I looked... seem to have increased by a 0 in price since then Mini sounds like an easy plan, not sure it's special enough though. what about a cool old beetle? what about this for a project? http://www.hotrodgarage.net/75nova712.html lol, welding practice = check, engine cleanup = check, keep the seat though
  14. we all know that carla will get her z4 and you'll be lumped with the z I like your idea, I think you should go for something easy to work on, so older with less electronics jumbo and something that doesn't get problems (historical) with electrics, I wouldn't personally touch an old alfa for quality reasons. I'd always wanted an old V8 guzzler with stupid engine volume and crazy handling something like this: Why not get an old Z to work on? this?: GT4 Celica would be nice to have but looks a bit 'dated'? MR2 looks like a nice toy car but unless you own a hairdryer I wouldn't get one
  15. normally autoboxes 'slip' more on the 'clutch' when in winter mode to try and put down less power onto the road, my guess is that the z works the same way.
  16. wrong thread section scoobie talk www.google.ie > and you'd find what your asking sorry, bad head this morning
  17. then Sunday spin on the bike and pack for holliers
  18. lol just noticed the k has been tejped over with black tejp on the speedo so probably converted into mph then?
  19. jap import from the looks of things. doesn't look like a standard rad. what intake system is sitting on it? (noticing the blue pipe from the airbox Also isn't that km/h if it's a jap import? (25k kilometers and not miles?)
