  1. Great mark, sounds like a great offer
  2. had lowered suspension, alloy wheels, an air vent in the bonnet well come on... Can get the lowered suspension but alloy wheel and air vent in the bonnet. Either way I'm dead set to declare ALL my mods to the insurance company due to things like above, knowing my luck it'll be me sitting there told I'm not insured (even though I'd probably paid 1200€ for the plessure of 'thinking' I'm insured) Horrible all the same... at least there is a body to pick up the pieces of uninsured drivers.
  3. I'm in agreement with Ekona on this, please make sure it's filtering dirt and give a happy medium between airflow and cleaning. Dirt 0 is a must.
  4. try and find out which filter does the best airflow but also the best cleaning, reason I went with apex back in the day was that it was giving ENOUGH air but also cleaned the dirt. This also depends on the rest of the breathing mods that has been applied to the engine, so for a more or less standard Z you don't need as much free flow air. Again I kinda agree with the dyno testing on this one.
  5. I had a 7" lilliput with the casing removed in my old 350z. The screen itself fit the whole perfectly, but the actual visible part (ie bit with the pixels) was ever so slightly smaller. I ended up just taping a small amount around the edge with black leccy tape to make it look neat got any pics?
  6. Got them numbers from the seller. Might be better off getting the 7" lilleputt instead.
  7. The 'box is dual tiptronic - full auto or you flick the lever across for "normal" 1-5 when I want. Mark did all the tuning with the car in "manual" 3rd gear. He said the car was pretty strong before tuning with the mods I had and hence I wouldn't feel much difference (I didn't - hence keeping the Dspec) Ah and it doesnt decide to lower gears even if it's lowish rpm? Thats good, my T5 does the same but only if your over 1500rpm. Mmm thought Dspec would be useless after an uprev tune.
  8. by the looks of things I'm couting on you
  9. looking at something a bit lower then that myself, haltech dual sensors with a dual gauge single pod.

  15. Hello chaps, thinking of getting a for sale screen (on here) for my cubby. Can someone tell me what size the screen needs to be to fit in there? Here is the data of the screen: (it's all in the wrong metric so don't say anything to me and don't have my car outside to measure either) Casing is 7 3/4 " wide by (just under) 5 1/2" The screen measures (just under) 4 3/4" by 6 1/4" Any advice would be greatly appreciated. cheers MR.A
  16. Weird, maybe its different on an auto... should notice a big difference in lower gears. Love the blue red line ha ha, guess its hard on an auto box to see a proper curve if it decides to kick down gears, remember that on my altezza. Or can you stick it in 4th and it won't kick down?
  17. nothing with cars in it! amazing bits in it, crazy people!
  18. Up-Rev done. I'm reserving judgement until I've lapped Castle Combe. Mark only got 10 bhp extra so we'll see. only? Why are you then using the Dspec controller, surely you wont need it now since you've got the full throttle response in the re-map? what did the uprev do to the torq-curve?
  19. After yesterday I think it should be renamed to the clinic instead of just chat
  20. 2 psi, if you don't mind. Don't lose the caps........... Loose more then that and keep the caps off so you don't burn your fingers checking tire pressure again later on do you have any close-up pics of your tires after a track session? Would be interested to compare and see how they performed.
  21. He'll need to let the try pressure down anyway You had me on the DIY part but then I saw the pics of you working on the car, you make no fool of me anymore lol anyway enjoy and get good vids, only thing keeping me sain these days
