Well...
I've decided to finally get going with my carputer build for my Z.
Ordered a screen a long long time ago and it finally arrived today after paying customs and other administrative charges, turned out it's not a touch screen version. Thank you Mr China seller for hiding that fact very well
Ordered a new one from a UK fleebay seller just now *guess the old one can be used as a video screen for the little one in the car, was thinking I could hook up the Desire HD to it with some vids for travelling longer distances. Or replace the current DIN unit and have two monitors in the Z... (final plan will have to wait it seems)

Memory
Whatever memory DDR2 type that I have in boxes at home (probably will go for 4GB just to be cool, not that I'll need more then 2GB)
Network
ZyXEL NWD2105 150Mbps 802.11n Ultra Compact Wireless USB2.0 Adapter
Bluetooth
Have a usb dongle here somewhere
Keyboard
Have a bluetooth keyboard here in a box somewhere
Screen
Lilliput 7" 669 669GL Touch Screen HDMI DVI VGA Monitor
Computer box
not fully decided yet what to go for here, can get a 'free' box to host my mdk easily enough but think I'll go down the route of making a board out of plastic and mold it a bit. I'm planning on using the cubby behind the passenger seat as the full enclosure.
Fans
Planning on using a few 12v computer fans to cool the setup, have a box somewhere
O/S
Not decided fully what to go for but it will be Windows, possible WinXP but looking at Win7 with a possible dual boot into Android.
I'm planning on hooking the car up to some battery source when parked at the house and have the system active so I an 'dropbox' files to and from easily enough. Aslo good for 'tuning' the setup while remoting in from the comfortable sofa
More to come.
Any input gladly taken.
