  1. Just come back from Le Mans and really the first time i've given my Z a hard run. As you say found the power curve very smooth rather than all or nothing like the cosworths / evo's. Took my DC5 Integra last year and found that anything over double figures it sounded like the engine was screaming its nuts off. Agreed thats what VTEC does but if I had taken it this year rather than the Z it wouldnt have been able to sit behind a DB9 at *50 mph comfortably as the Z did (much to the Aston's surprise!!)
  2. HI mate, just got back from Le Mans and it is on my doorstep . The bodyshop was fairly correct though, the colour has changed in certain places. Not to worry though mate, i may try spraying it gloss black so no probs at all Chris
  3. You also need to take a copy of your V5 Log book in the car for France. I also 'heard' on pistonheads that they can fine you for not having your numberplates bolted on (ie - no stick on or double sided tape holding it on).
  4. yeah cool give us a toot if you see us!! Think we are staying at Bejesour or something!!
  5. Cheers chaps, took ages to get them designed and sorted out but hopefully well worth it!!!! Attak z - cool stuff, will send cash in the post (recorded!) as i can't find me blimmin cheque book!!!! Chris
  6. gt4zed - nah this is loads better than the carbon stuff that was on it!! rtbiscuit - yes mate printing is the way forward, just dearer when it goes wrong!!
  7. Once again me and me mates are off for a weekend of beer and cars down in France! Every year we normally set a theme to have the cars done in stickers, this year being cartoons!!!!! Spent a lot of time doing them but well happy with the outcome!! Few pics!! Chris

  13. Indeed, same here, looks like they are on a rod thats fixed either end though so probably not a good idea stripping them down!
  14. I use Megs engine degreaser as well from a spray bottle and watered down. Superb for wheels as well!
  15. Yes you can sstill get in from the inside mate! I just lowered the window ' just in case ' !!!! Has anyone removed the moving bit of the handle away from the handle?
  16. Blackfire Tyre Gel, works superb, wouldnt use anything else imo. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... cat15.html Chris
  17. Damn and I was about to get my Rays done in Black!! Not really keen on paying much more on top though but the option is there if you'd like to sell yours with original looking Rays. (not fussed on the rim protectors or red nuts). Chris
  18. have you considered a DC5 Integra? Had 2 of these either side of the S2000 and to be honest preferred it, even though it was front wheel drive.... sooooo much fun!!!!
  19. I had a Metallic Indy Yellow one a few years ago - awesome motors, great fun to drive, can be driven sensibly or to the limit. 100% reliable, mine had a gruppe M filter and HKS exhaust and sounded superb! Bought it straight off the boat from Japan and got it through SVA myself (wouldnt do one again!!!). Didnt like the colour of it initially but when polished up its a lovely metallic! Definitely worth giving it a test drive, only downer was its a little cramped / claustrophobic inside with the roof up, pretty much the same as a Boxster. Few pics of my one....
  20. Where is the depot Matt? I'm borrowing the old mans car to pick up a bathroom suite on friday (I have friday off). Can collect if you like?
  21. I've already bought these mate . Although havent been able to pick them up yet!! I believe 25mm should be ok though
  22. It bolts onto the standard pipe mate I am in Essex, probably about an hour from fleet i'd say. I work in the City if thats easier? Chris

I think I had PIAA ones on the my old dc5 integra, made a hell of a difference, but very dear. Might be worth settling for the Bosch ones. (Jub - trying to sort springs collection this week mate )
  24. Here you go mate, I have 3M carbon vinyl available, enough to cover the front lip bit for £20 including delivery Chris
  25. Ah cool, think we leave on the 20th!! Fingers crossed for no ash!! (until we get there!). We're hotelling it this year! S/C would be tempting but doubt the missus would go for that!!
