  1. Hopefully you are write in what you are saying, i imagine the real kick in the value has happened already, perhaps if i was to keep a couple of years I would notice but for the short period I will keep it for if I can get a bargain hopefully I wont be too much out of pocket!! Jay - seeing your matt orange z in your siggy i'm tempted to wrap it that colour!! (i wrap cars as a sideline!)
  2. Thanks for the input guys, i'm trying to track one down locally so I can have a go. I dont really want to go back to a 350 tbh, as much as I loved both of mine i'd like to go for something newer, the interior was a little, well, shite!! (sorry!). An Audi TT is tempting due to the cost of them now, as is a Porsche Cayman, but think the 370 has a lot more appeal, a lot rarer as well in that you don't really see many on the road. Depreciation is my only concern with something so new, even over the 8 month period i'll own it.
  3. Hi all, havent posted for a while after parting with my Z last year (well had 2 Z's!). Anyway i've recently sold my mercedes sl500 and currently trying to sell my DC5 and go back to the one car, originally was going to settle for a boring 535 diesel sport BMW but a friend (who got me into Z's originally) pointed me to a 370Z! Read all the reviews, they look awesome and the writeups are very positive. However budget wise I am looking at the earlier circa 16k ones. Would I be making a mistake opting for one, baring in mind it will probably only be for the summer, come the winter time I will no doubt want to sell for something practical (never kept cars too long). Will depreciation hit me in this 8 month period do you think or is it a case of 'buy for the right price/sell for the right price? Also being a complete newbee to the 370s are there any options I should/shouldn't go for baring in mind my budget. For my driving style i'd prefer an auto (getting lazy!) but a manual would be fine if one came up? I rarely drive anymore, perhaps one or 2 100 mile round trips a week tothe missus place (all dual carriageway) and will be taking it to Le Mans in June. The other option I have considered is an Audi TT (sorry!!). Any advice would be great. Thanks Chris
  4. Hi all, been out of the Z game for a while or so but found a rear shelf when clearing out my loft! Not sure what it is worth so any offers? Was hoping for £20 perhaps? Please advise if I am miles out!! Thanks Chris
  5. Got to add that Matt's Zed is MINTY MINT and well worth every penny. No expense spared on it (he's a bufty!!). Driving his one made me buy a Z the week after!! Good luck with the sale mate
  6. These are now gone i'm afraid to the first pm'er!! If I come across anything else in the garage they'll be up on here soon!! Cheers Chris

  8. I found pair of 350Z rear lights in the garage that I started to tint but never finished off!!!! If anyone wants them to have a play or carry on tinting I dont want any money for em, just a crate of Fosters or something!!! I'll provide the tint spray as well (almost new can). Free to collector, rather not post to be honest. Will be binned next ewek if I have no takers! Cheers Chris

  10. ak350z - they did indeed mate, perfect for a birds motor or runabout with a nice bit of poke!! Not the greatest handling of machines if I'm honest!! Daryl - literally just finished off all that red bull!!!!!! Hows the Z going ok?! I'm about to sell my Audi for a Merc convertible!!!!! Chris
  11. Decided to sell my Beetle as I only really need one car!! Spec is as follows: Beetle V5 Sport 2.3 V5 engine 35000 miles 1 previous owner (bought it from a friend who bought it new) 2002 plate Black Heated leather seats (black/grey leather) Air Con Electric tilt and slide sunroof Rare factory fit bodykit (California its called apparantly?!) Upgraded 17" alloys from factory, 2 tyres are brand new, 2 are half worn Recently had a full service and MOT Completely standard Its in superb condition and its been used daily for the last couple of years by my ex missus for work (only a short journey). 2 coilpacks have been replaced in the last 6 months as well as the battery, but apart from that it has been 100% reliable and is great fun to drive (175hp as standard) Only asking £4k for it, was owned by a friend of mine from new before I bought it - he paid £21k for it 35000 miles ago!!!! PLease pm or email me on chris.foster@sc.com for more info etc... Thanks Chris

  13. I dont think the camber arms are that expensive mate, £90? Not 100% sure!
  14. As above I bought a set of brand new Eibach springs for my Z but sold my Z a few months ago. They have been sitting in my garage waiting for a home!!! All are brand new never fitted, box is ok but been in the garage so a little worse for wear! These are £220 new I think but will sell for £170 plus postage (or collection....) Thanks Chris
  15. Had both 2 350Z's and 2 DC5's, Z's are deffo quicker in a straight line but would say that the Teg may be the better car on the twistys. If both were on track with sorted suspension then the Teg would be a lot quicker. Awesome things. Did a trackday a couple of years back and a gent in a Teg was keeping up with the Evo drivers (all experienced drivers!).
  16. Sold pending payment from first chap. Thanks for the interest guys Chris
  17. Found a keyring in the drawer that is no longer needed!! Think they are about £11 / £12 on fleabay but will sell it for £7 including postage. Thanks
