  1. I think the same pre-production blue car with the infinity wheel is doing the rounds with Rob at various dealers because I saw it yesterday at Beadles, Maidstone, Kent. I wasn't sure about the lights in the pictures, but I think they work, the rear looks fatter with the wider arches, but I am not keen on the F1 style fog lamp. The interior looks and feels better on this GT model. I noticed the alloys first they look quite aggressive, they also had a 350Z roadster alongside in the showroom, the 370Z looks like far more than an evolution when you looks at them side by side. I have owned my 350 for a year so I won't be in the queue for a new 370Z, and will wait for my PCP to run out. It is a shame there are no interesting colours.
  2. Does it really sound like that? Thats awesome!! Over 4K revs all you hear on the inside is the engine, brilliant. As I was watching the other cars go by I was thinking were is the Z, and heard a car coming thought it isn't the Z and the video is about to run out and it is, shocking!!
  3. You could always try a near new MK2 Leon, VW/Audi bits without the premium price, and you could probably pick up a Cupra for that price. You might miss the rear wheel drive though.
  4. Worked dayshifts both days, but got the next 7 off
  5. I think Stew answered your question. As to the quality, I came from a 55 plate new shape Lexus IS with DD5.1 surround 13 speakers as standard so the Nissan sounded quite poor in comparison. I have had two head units (skipping and then CDs jammed in the loader) and the last one sounds better than the previous two. Not sure why but I noticed the later one has far better bass response and lower frequencies heard, the mid and top is still messy but it is ok for my use. I did think about upgrading but spending a couple of grand on a setup I will only have for a couple of years doesn't seem worth it to me. I would rather spend it on my Porsche because I know I will be keeping that.
  6. The price you pay for producing a unique car
  7. Welcome! My tax is due I can't believe I have owned my Z for nearly a year now 56 plate on 13.5K miles now.
  8. It looks nice, but undersized rear tyres and too low, it must smack all the speed bumps!
  9. Give the owner a chance, it looks like a work in progress. Modding with body kits isn't for me, but each to his own.
  10. I think I can count 22 screens in that car, not sure of the point of it really, unless it is to show the quality of work the installers can carry out. It also seems odd that most of the car is very customised but leaves some parts untouched like the dash pod and dials on the dash. I don't like it apart from the paint is nice. I would quite like a Sunset centre console and transmission tunnel in mine, but that is about it.
  11. Thank you buddy, i dont expect people to like it as if im honest its not my preferred choice, but needs are a must in this situation. Im more putting this up as a photographer who is getting back into taking pictures If you are getting back into photography you need to get your white balance sorted out, its all over the place. The 500 seems a bit too girly to me.
  12. I had mine replaced for skipping CDs, it would do it more on one than another and didn't have to be cold. My car is parked in an underground car park overnight and it would do it then. Then that one jammed the CDs in the system and it was replaced again. The dealer couldn't give me back my CDs that got jammed in it because Clarion need to do that and send them back to me. The dealer also scratched the centre console, when the took the jammed unit out to get the serial off it, so I pointed this out and they said they would fix it when the new radio was fitted. All they did was polish the centre console black, and then the passenger side dash was polished black. The inside of the car is grey so it looks rubbish and doesn't match at all. They also put the gear knob on crooked like its pointing at 11 oclock position. I have pointed this out to them and they said next time they will fix it. It is going in again on the 25th March to have the squeaking clutch pedal replaced, but the brake pedal squeaks too so I am thinking more likely cylinder at fault, so will only have to wait and see what they do. I still havent had my CDs returned.
  13. My orange seats are already showing the dirt after 9K, so would not like grey or white. My 928 has cream leather and looks ok, if a little worn for 18 years and 140K so maybe if they are looked after will be ok. The roadster doesn't look right at the back with the roof up to me. Cheap tho, 3rd of the price already?
  14. Probably could not have avoided the badger without causing an accident, but I feel you could have avoided the next two items on the list? sometimes bad luck you make for yourself. Good luck with the back, or whatever it is you needed treatment for, I know and have suffered for more than 10 years.
  15. I was right alongside a silver 06 in the queue for the Blackwall tunnel yesterday evening and he completely blanked me and carried on with his nodding dog impression.
  16. Have you enquired at strutsdirect.co.uk? They don't have the 350Z on the list of Nissan cars, but you can send an enquiry. I just replaced them all round on the Porker and the boot worked out £35 with postage for the pair!
  17. Tax on that year will be £400, going up to £440 in 2010
  18. On my Lexus the way the lights levelled worked on sensors on the suspension, so if the Z is the same I would check that if you have had any suspension work done. The Lexus also turned the lights (AFS) when going round corners which was brilliant.
  19. I dont have that, however I thought mine might be auto height adjusting because when I am sitting in traffic behind a white van the light shining on the van will dip slightly and then go back to where it was.
  20. There is over 200 on ebay, vary in price (byitnow) from 250 to over 400 depending on what included, similar to yours around 275-315 or higher on some pushing their luck. (lol one is £750!) Still probably bit more than I want to pay. And some of my PC's seem to be having hissy fits at the moment so need to sort them out. Except my game monster machine, touch wood seems to be ok.
  21. I think you will find that they play songs! Tracks are for racing on, trains to go on, scalextric or are left by creatures in the snow. Don't be mean - leave him alone to play his records in his slippers........ That is fantastic, where can I get a pair of these record playing slippers? The other day I opened the door in my pyjamas.
  22. Is it you selling then? What price you hoping to get? Financing the next car? I have been toying with the idea of a PS3 to go on the new 1080p telly in the bedroom. Porn in HD, mmmmm

  24. For a 330D touring you would be looking at around £450 a month plus 3 months deposit upfront, and that is without any extras, which on BMW is a list as long as your arm. As has been said you would be better off nearly new in this climate you should have plenty of room to get a good deal on a premium motor.
